Just love this song and the group and of course Scott’s voice. I listened to Scott’s story about coming out of drug and alcohol addiction and finding God, and the man he is today. [ So all in q again by believing-accepting a.k.a. placing or putting our faith/trust in Jesus, Christ, God, the Son, as our Savior and what He did described above and in His word starting in the gospels , I'd start with John, the most complete account of Jesus as Savior, by our believing, putting our fsith/trust in Jesus, what He did taking our place on the cross, our place-our body of sin, its debt-payment of forever separation=hell=death, and after was buried, and resurrected, risen to NEW LIFE IN JESUS, CHRIST , He-HIS work, defeated, by defeating/crucified our old dead body/man of sin&its debt/wages of death=hell=forever separation Christ, Jesus having defeating most of all that once certain total power and slavery of the old dead body/man sin&death we once were reigned by for every believer, now a "born-again Christian" and by conquering/crucifying our old fallen/dead body if sin&its debt-penalty of sin&death, He also defeated the overall limited power, yet slavery to satan/the devil, a.k.a. the bad-evil lying stealing, killing, did I say lying Enemey who stands condemned, conquered by this also conquered the complete power, slavery of the world...and in its place..gave us Himself in He/His gift of forever/eternal forgiveness=Amazing, Indescribable Gift of Grace, and Eternal Life-life forever with our God-Creator-Father-Savior, the One who is: Holy=Set Apart far, far, far highest above anything, or anyone, all Knowing, All Powerful, all Beautiful , all Light, Just Loving, God-The Father, God the Son-God the Holy Spirit, as our God-our Creator-our Father-the Son- our Savior All in One. Two weeks ago my first child has birth, and i sang this song for him at the Hospital the first time i had him on my hands. This song is amazing for the feelings that it remind to paternity.
Now that I'm older and have a son and a daughter of my own this song makes so much more sense to me. I've always loved the song from the beginning but as a mom to 2 beautiful children this song I would definitely dedicate to the both of them.
I would play this song for my Son when he was in my belly and throughout his short life.
