Actually they were huge in America but were never as big around the rest of the World, Alter Bridge have always been bigger than Creed everywhere else in the world and still are. By the time Creed were touring the Weathered album in 2002 they were getting bigger, but then imploded.
Undoubtedly, this is the best live performance of this song by Creed. Everything is perfect: His unique facial features (including baby face, long hair, smile compared to how he looks today with ugly tattoos, muscles), his clothes, and those of other members, the atmosphere, his charisma seen in at the end when he says thanks not only to the audience but also to the orchestra for playing. Even if there are tons of videos out there on RU-vid, you can't find a video like this which contains all of those stuff. Hats off to the lead singer, the band, the orchestra, the supportive loyal audience and the camera crew who did an excellent job in giving us well positioned multi-cam coverage !! 👍👏 The orchestra is the icing on the cake though. ❤️
Their one my favorite live bands. The retro prime creed, not really the comback tour or 2012. His voice just wasn’t there. I still luv creed regardless.
If i would pick from all rock bands in the 90s, many of them were really really great..but Creed was in another level, the lead singer voice is so freaking unique, and the blend melodic in their hard deep rock...not to forget they wrote legendary songs like my sacrifices, one last breath, arms with open...these are very well written lyrics and music composition. Simple but yet, very catchy to the audience
I was at a local fest to see Scott Stapp a couple of years ago! When Scott sang this song I had my arm around my 23 year old son with tears streaming down my face, and I was so humbled I didn't even try to hide those tears!
I remember watching this live. If I recall Rob Lowe introduced them & said something to the effect that nothing is greater for a man than fatherhood. How right he was.
Yes Yeahhhhhh " Creed is freaking Awesome Man I remember when they showed this on MTV I had Recorded this I still got this on VHS from bk then it's from ( 2000 ) ' !!!! so cool I Love that Distortion Mark is Jamming w / it sounds so Heavy I Love it 😀😣😃
One of the best thing in a music backdays specially creed is how naturally they play their music. a very true and grear live performance. One thing i really love about tremonti is those clean tones to distorted one everytime he plays. Just pure talent very natural.
Yep i still got this on an old Vhs tape from where i recorded them " this performance was off the chain awesome & cool man 😎 especially the " What ? If song they rocked out Creed rocks 🎵🎶
How come there is this version (like the one in the video/radio single) and then another version they perform everywhere else that's longer and has no strings?
