patrick crawford if you can give one legitimate reason why BOTH Creed and Nickelback really suck than I'll respect it. If not I'll just laugh like I am right now
Cody Ross It seems that people hate on both Creed and Nickleback simply because it's the "cool" thing to do. Creed has been one of my favorite bands and I enjoy Nickleback as well.
I don't understand how people hate on Creed when most of their songs are really really super good. One of the most inspiring bands of all time. Their songs give a lot strength that nobody knows they even have. And Scott Stapp has an incredible voice whether it's live or studio Wish they were still around as a band
Been listening to creed since i was a teenager , sometimes when im down i listen to creed songs and it gives me hope, strength, positivity and quite getsaway me to being hopeless.
@@messiah_iv Then why watch the video? I had the opportunity to talk to Scott recently and he is an incredible man and artist. No swearing needed in his music. Best musician and artist I have heard.
@Constelação I'm pretty sure it's about religion and has nothing to do with an actual father lol and honestly if it's about his actual father, that's even more cringey cause this a shit song
I remember when I saw them in concert in 2004 I tried so hard not to cry during this song in front of my brother Michael for fear I might feel embarrassed higher was the only other one
one of the few songs that made me cry as a teenage and im a dude like the song really is one of those well written songs. Creed in their prime were one of the best bands ever. Their CD's sales must of sold in the 100 millions but than again i could be over saying that Number haha
I remember listening to this song the day I found out I was having my first son. I was by myself in my truck and cried my eyes out with tears of happiness.
I was 23 in 1999 when this was released, loved it then and love it now although now I’m a father i have a better understanding of it, for me it went from being a great song in a different time in my life to a great song that reflected the new stage of my life.
What a coincidence !! 😍🤔 Wow. Today it's the 14th of February, 2023. This performance was also on a 14th of February. I just searched the live versions of this song. And this video popped up. 🤔
Well I just heard the news today It seems my life is gonna change I close my eyes, begin to pray Then tears of joy stream down my face With arms wide open Under the sunlight Welcome to this place I'll show you everything With arms wide open With arms wide open Well I don't know if I'm ready To be the man I have to be I'll take a breath, I'll take her by my side We stand in awe, we've created life With arms wide open Under the sunlight Welcome to this place I'll show you everything With arms wide open Now everything has changed I'll show you love I'll show you everything With arms wide open With arms wide open I'll show you everything With arms wide open, wide open If I had just one wish Only one demand I hope he's not like me I hope he understands That he can take this life And hold it by the hand And he can greet the world With arms wide open With arms wide open Under the sunlight Welcome to this place I'll show you everything With arms wide open Now everything has changed I'll show you love I'll show you everything With arms wide open With arms wide open I'll show you everything With arms wide open, wide open
I don't know why the band got shunted. There are personalities in show biz that don't click & it only takes one. Maybe the message was too positive for the time..but now in 2016?? I remember this lyric. Classic.
I hate how Creed is bashed for how Scott sings and there music. I have enjoyed Creed since 1999 with Human Clay. Yes Scott is an ass, but so is Bieber and they're are plenty of people who love him. And at least Scot owns up to his mistakes.
You keep singing like that, I show you love , I'll show you everything, we'll almost . I'm a lady I meant my record collection. GEEZ. March 18 2017 XOX Marshall
