Creedmoor Sports TRX-925 Precision Reloading Scale Review 

Great scale I purchased one several months ago. No drifting very accurate. I recommend this scale.

BTW you have some of the primers spill into your main cup from the cup to the left of it at the roughly 18:48 mark on the video! Nice video over all!!

So I just received mine last night . Let it warm up for an hour , calibrated and played for a while . She is pretty precise and consistent . Repeatability was great . She reacts a bit slower than I am use to with the cheaper scales but thats to be expected with a precision scale . Definitely must be aware of air movement and or breathing lol . I moved her around on the bench and even bumped her a few times and returned to zero pretty much every time . I weighed a primer , wrote it down , left her on overnight , weighed it this morning and got the exact same number . All in all pretty good scale for the price . Definitely fits what I have been needing . Only negatives are the buttons seem a little cheep and does not have leveling legs/posts , but other than that Im good with it .

Just when you think RS-232 is dead tech....Creedmoor gives us a solid, packaged scale for a good price thereby reviving one last breath of air into the old tech. Great review John. I have spoken to a few of 'em personally including shooting in a match with another. While they are located in AL, I reckon I can forgive for that. Been meaning to get down their for a day trip and check out their storefront. The fact you can leave the windshield off and it's not floating nonstop is impressive considering it weighs down to .01gn... That really drives me freakin crazy!!!

Love the count feature. Might needed to re calibrate for 10 primers of the 78 to get a more accurate count.

Great review. I've been eyeballing this scale for about a month, and I think I will pull the trigger as soon as the funds are available. I primarily reload for fun just to see what I'm able to do beyond factory loads. The window of being off by a few 100th's of a grain in a analog scale or even the cheap digitals that only go down to 1/10 of a grain has finally gotten to me, and I'm now striving to get a tighter consistency, it gets frustrating when I drop 2-3 granules of powder and see no change in the reading.

I just ordered one a few minutes ago, it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for, I don’t trust the automated powder throwers, and even more so I did play with the charge master light for a couple days and I am twice as fast are using the Yuna flow powder throw and trickling so I’ve been looking for a scale that I can trust it’s readings without drift with consistent measurements without breaking the bank, of course I’ve looked at the AND but I really don’t feel like spending 600+ , this is definitely at a good price, way better then anything cheaper out there that only gives you .0 readings I do love the .00, I have been using cheaper skills that will give me .00 but I do deal with drift and I do deal with some inconsistencies from time to time I find myself Re:ZERO in and recalibrating many times throughout a session so this seems like something I’d be able to rely on more consistently

I'd like to see adding a kernal at a time from zero. try it on all your scales.

Truweigh Sharpshooter digital reloading scale … Very nice set up for portability and Truweigh is a very well respected accurate scale company . I have enjoyed mine for many years . Not a bench top scale but would work for small task similar to your primer separations . It can be found for approximately half of the original price . I would suggest that if using briefly or storing for unknown amount of time . I would suggest removing the batteries and storing them separately in a ziploc bag along with extras . In case of battery leakage . It has many different types of weighing options including grains . It comes in a case , weights , a weighing cup , instructions on inside of lid . Scale is removable and case can be used as a platform for larger items that need to be weighed . Lastly a decent warranty from Truweigh . I look forward to your review and opinions . I sure do like mine . Thanks for your time

TIP: buy these scales based on one thing ; one decimal point , two decimal points or 3 decimal points and pay accordingly. $200.00 for one dec. , $500.00 for two dec. and $800.00 for 3 dec. place CDN. give or take if you want a decent scale these are approx. price ranges.

1 of the 75 primer jumped in to the 76 cup

Is there a way to level the scale. I don’t see a built in level there. If a scale isn’t level, how accurate can it really be?

If I was a Dope Dealer I'd sure buy one...LOL All BSaside..I wouldnt mind having one even though my wife said F Class John caused me to buy my V4 Auto Trickler & FX 120i scale.. She was right in her assumption..LOL This is a nice scale.I wish it would measure bullets .

Curious; if your initial 10ct weight is based on .000076 (or whatever the weight was), how would the count be the same weight be used for the remainder of the pieces? I suspect that's where the count discrepancy is.

This is based on load cell. It is not even close to accuracy of your fx one with feedback system. This one has internal algorithm to autocorret the drift that means the measurement you took 100 cycles ago is not the same as the last one. I have done my own design based on load cell, I tried to achieve 0.01gn repeatability but over time it start drift due to nature of load cell. But it would be a good alternative to big name tricler system. Using rs-232 would be very asy to program microcontroller to drive trickler. I will stick to my fx for now and will finish my design. The goal is to make it affordable for everyone.

Have you done any tests to see how it handles RF interference? Maybe try using it around some fluorescent lights and cell phones?

I guess the $64,000 question for anyone shooting F Class would be whether you would trust it to charge your loads for a Nationals or SWN level match. I don't see any reason why not based on your review as well as other testers on RU-vid, but curious to know what you think. Thanks.

You had a variance there that you didn't account for. When you change cups to measure you didn't tare for the ten unit input after the first cup. 350 is a sig-fig. You might or might not think it's significant but it's something that you don't know for sure could affect it

I checked the Creedmoor Sports Q/A for this scale. One customer asked where it is made. The answer was "overseas." The customer then asked if it's made in China and got no response. Does the scale say where it's made?

I know that I’m late to the party on this video but I just bought one a month or so ago. Will this scale work with the super trickler? I’m really interested in getting one. How much does a finger print weight?

....does not exhibit drift because less accurate scales are naturally less sensitive .... hence - less accurate.

If you would have reset the count function with “10” of each of each weight, it may have made a more accurate count of 600.

Could you use this with a Auto Trickler V4?

I don't think this will be useful for trickling, since it stabilizes too slow for that purpose.

Will the auto trickler work on this scale?

Be careful keeping primers in containers like that. If one would happen to detonate it's going to be ugly.
