Creek Life at its FINEST! Summertime Bass in the Creek! 

In 20 or 30 years, I can see Jacobi telling his kids about when he went to his buddy Houston's place and they would fish and swim in the creek for hours. Then Uncle Houston will walk in telling his "I always caught the biggest fish" stories to be met with "It's too bad RU-vid isn't around anymore! Your dad shared them with the world!" I can see those boys being life long friends. I have a 41 year friendship with someone!

Those boys may not know it now but one day in the future they will look back on these days and see how blessed they were to be able to experience this. What a wonderful life they are living. Thank you Jesus for this beautiful day and the Arm’s Family. ❤️

What a beautiful day! Those are some of the luckiest kids to have a creek life to enjoy.

I grew up on a river in Missouri. We had a Cabin with a big pond that was spring fed. Behind the house about 100 yards was a river. Until I got my drivers license, my cousin and I fished and swam that river nearly everyday during the summer. In that moment you don't realize that one day you wished you could do it all over again without the knowledge of being older and having far more responsibilities. It's also fun to see kids going through a similar experience.

Bella has got to be the most amazing dog I've ever seen the way she watches Hustons every move he makes in the water. They way she's taught Earl to be a great creek dog as well. Sometimes watching her run in that heat worries me but she knows her limit. I think she would give her life for boys if need be. I could watch them swing and fly all day what a childhood to have. I agree with you Daniel knowing that there growing up and out of that fun phase of life kinda hurts but makes you feel good that you've done your part as a parent. And raised such amazing children is all you can do and set back let your heart smile for what you have done in life. Knowing that they well have such amazing memories to share with their own children someday. Makes me think back of all the crazy things my own father did lol. Thank you💜💜

Reminds me of the days when Gramma would take us down to the Salt Fork river in SW Ok so we could catch river perch by hand. She carried them home in her apron. What fun. And Grampa would cook them for our supper on and fire outside. Coated with salt and cornmeal, yum, yum.

I grew up on a lake. Our neighborhood had 20 kids between 6-17. My fondest memories are of those years. We swam, fished, and had row boats, canoes and paddle boats. The freedom and joy of those times has never left me. I hope Houston and Jacoby will look back one day and feel the same way I do. 😃

Beautiful gifts from God. Reminds me of going to my friend's house and playing in the ditch fifty-five years ago. Mr. Natali was from Italy and Mrs. Natali was an Okie. They had peach orchards and my friend had to slice the peaches to dry in the California sun. My dad witnessed to that crusty, cranky old Italian and brought him to the Lord. After he went to Heaven, the land was sold off and now has thousands of houses and a shopping center on it. Artists used to come out to Cedar and Shepherd to paint the old farm house and windmill before it was torn down. Fond memories with my forever friend.

That reminds me of the creek my Grandpa use to take us to. It was called Daddy’s Creek. Of all things. Mom wouldn’t bait her hook or take the fish off once she caught one. Poor Houston, he hates to loose. Now the deep end reminds me of a place we called the Blue Hole for swimming. It was a filled in quarry at the end of Daddy’s Creek area. Where it branches off. So much enjoyment. They don’t realize that’s some of the best days of their lives. ♥️❤️🥰♥️❤️

My grandson and a young man from a school he attended thru 6th grade spent most summers at our lake home! My daughter’s family moved and the boys never attended school together again! However they spent a big part of each summer with us at the lake! They competed in football every year but they are still best of friends and always laugh about the best time of their life! My grandson will be 22 next month and their favorite times were spent at our lake! Diving off the chain link post into the lake and off the dock! Fishing and learning to clean their catch and skiing on water and when our entire family would head off to ski and enjoy Christmas together Kevin always came along! My favorite picture is when they hugged after a playoff game! Our grandson’s team would always win but Rhett would hunt out Kevin as soon as his coach was thru! His team won state and always played deep into Dec in the playoffs n most often in the state game but no win was ever as bittersweet as when they beat his best friend’s team! These boy’s are blessed as well and even when they go their separate ways they will always look back on these memories with a smile! Enjoy them Daniel before long they will be like Weston and chasing a living! ❤️❤️❤️

A couple years ago we hired him to help with yard work and to watch my Mom while I was at work. Tyler took me for rides on the side by side by the woods and creek. Good memories!

Everybody is having fun , Houston , Jacobi , the dogs and Daniel . Yes Daniel , you have to enjoy them as much as you can because things do change for awhile ..............................but when you take the time to be with them now it comes back when they're adults . They want to spend time with Mom and Dad and they include you when they plan things with their own family and friends . I bet those boys will do a lot of fishing together and they'll want you there too .
