My Dad, Clayton Iles, was a remarkable man. He spent his entire blue-collar career as a surveyor for the Highway Department, but he spent his entire life loving other people. Daddy was the most fascinating person I’ve known.
Today’s story is taken from my third short story collection, Wind in the Pines.
