Creep Featuring Clayton Church, Nick Meliska and our 2021 Full Time Performing Arts students Choreographed by Alex Miedzinski Brent Street - Australia's Home of Performing Arts Learn More: www.brentstreet.com.au
It kinda seems like he is bi, and he may have been in a bad relationship with the guy, and finally escaped it to be with the girl. (That’s just what I see though)
Undoubtedly, in many various ways, this is damn good. Thanks to the internet we are able to see worldwide, to appreciate and to celebrate all the good that grows from within human beings, and what becomes visible in so many magical ways. A big thank you to everyone who made this show possible and participated in it, either before or behind the curtain. Greetings from Berlin - Germany
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why, out of all the performing arts, I am in awe of dancers; constant training, physical perfection, amazing talent, all in pursuit of those few minutes performing onstage before an audience. This particular ensemble was truly outstanding.
Really kinda sad you never give credit to your LD in any post. The lighting really contributed to making this performance next level , nicely highlighted the choreography
Fantastic - well done fron Sunny South Africa - love the song, best rendition was on AGT by mt crumbb - but this is visually the only dance rendition i have seen - LOVED IT.
I agree. And I was a little distracted by all of the hair flying around, honestly. But beautiful choreo nonetheless. Would love to see a solo from the man in white or see him featured in a smaller ensemble.
Ich habe so verstanden: Kampf der Geschlechter, innerer Kampf zwischen eigener hetero- und Homosexualität, Kampf zwischen einem Mann und Frau für einen Mann, der Held hat die Frau ausgewählt.
Nice to see so many good group choreo vids making it into my feed suggestion. This one seems to be on the move based on the newness of many of the comments. Maybe assisted by the CDK phenom? I caught that one on day 2 when it had less than 50k views and thought What the hell...why is this not more popular?". Hoping the same thing happens to this as well. It will go on my favorites list for sure.
I think its disrespectful, and reflective of a generation requiring immediate gratification, not to be able to refrain themselves from interruptive response, to such a dramatically outstanding performance. It's not a football game! It's art! Save it till the end, and stand through four ovations.
Oh your reply REALLY confused me. Do you care to explain what you mean please? Who is the disrespectful ones? " not to be able to retrain themselves from interruptive response" ? I tried google translate but it only got weirder 😂
@@TheHitchkick That was a typo. The word was Refrain - to suspend response. Maybe its a generational thing, But hoots and yells belong at sporting events. Not the performing arts where appreciation is shown in shown by standing through several encores. Which they deserved.
@@charlesprice925 Oh, I see!! I wasn't sure if you meant the dancers or the comments were the disrespectful ones. Thanks for explaining. As a retired dancer I don't agree with you about the generation thing, I believe this performance was made in a show for performing arts students so they probably had half the room filled with friends and family. I agree that it most definitely is a standing ovations performance however. I just think people was just showing their love and support.
What I think it is is the guy he takes the jacket from at the end is the person who he wishes he was, but at the end he realizes the girl loves him for him and he takes the power away from the guy he wants to be by taking his jacket🤷♀️
@@ashtonbyal2938 yeah but i don't think it's an actual person but rather his inner demon/insecurities. and by putting it on the girl it shows that he is better able to love her as a result of growing from his insecurities.
Ich habe so verstanden: Kampf der Geschlechter, innerer Kampf zwischen eigener hetero- und Homosexualität, Kampf zwischen einem Mann und Frau für einen Mann, der Held hat die Frau ausgewählt.
I don't think it's about that... at the beginning of the play the two men appear together, seeming to be in a romantic relationship, but things go wrong later.
I feel like the ending of the jacket would have been more impactful if White Shirt had put it on him at the start of the dance to symbolize his love for him. And at the end, it would mean he's no longer in love with the guy, but with the woman. Because otherwise, I don't understand what White Shirt taking off the jacket off the guy and putting it on the woman means.. xD
An arresting performance, whatever one may think about the interpretation. Disappointing though to hear the post-American Idol audience turn the dance into a circus or sporting event.
Yes...unfortunately I have to agree with you comment. It really pulled away from the performance.........hearing all the 'KIDDIES' yelling and shouting with every move of the main dancers. Maybe it was his cheer squad
