I always felt a bit awkward pulling out my camera in public... Now I'm just going to throw away all my gear out of fear that someone might report me to the police for taking pictures of anything. Thanks. Saying "Not everyone with a camera is a good guy" nothing new there but sounds like you just came to the realization that "not every human is nice, some do bad things". At some point you started to sound just like a tabloid newspaper "my huge breasts tried to kill my dog" or something. Maybe focus of photography if you're into that and leave the drama to magazines.
I get what you're saying, it's reasonable. It took about two years before I decided to report him. I mean I do also feel awkward with my camera in public. But this guy repeatedly talked about taking photos of women (only). I didn't just see this guy take photos of some random event, he showed up at women's events and then published photos of people who was younger than the legal age on his facebook (which is against the law here). And sure, as I explained in the video not every photographer is a creep. But taking photos is different in the sense that you can save photos and spread them illegally. So some people abuse their position in a way that's not possible for other professions. So as long as you don't go around and talk about women and make other inappropriate actions you'll be alright. And since I don't have any personal gain on this story I'd rather do it myself than tell it to some magazine. And I'm not saying any names or giving out any personal information of who's involved and where it happened, it's up to the law to decide if he's guilty and I have to respect that.
