I don't know why every time you need to compare the covered songs with the original version.They are not trying to be like the original, it is a fact that the performers are singing other people's songs in their own way. I adore The 1975, but I surely enjoyed every single second of this cover! It was really great!

Not a huge fan of 1975 songs being covered but this was just beautiful! Stripping it back shows how powerful and relatable this song really is! Awesome job
agreed. matty is one of a kind and pours so much emotion into the lyrics. nobody can match up to the 1975. doesn't take away that i am still impressed by this version.
Hannah's voice is beautiful! I adore Will's voice because it's so unique but Hannah's soft tones bring their songs together... creeper is without a doubt one of my all time favourites
I love this cover especially where the guy comes in later on in the song. As beautiful and amazing as the female vocalists voice is, I wish he’d got a verse or joined in a little more.
Stephen Hayward well yea but covers arent supposed to "come close to the original" but to create your own, personal version of the song. I agree that the original is breathtakingly brautiful, but so is this cover. No need to compare them.
No doubt you're a great singer but the sole hero of this song is the whiny waaaaaahhhhh keyboard sound you hear in the 1975 version which this song doesn't have. No version of this song without that sound will ever cut if for me. After listening to this I appreciate that song even more.
