One of my favorite missions of the campaigns so far; another non-traditional source of Creeper arrives, upgrades are a crucial concept to learn, and a quick start is needed to do this one without allowing the enemy to expand. One noteworthy correction; miners are affected by the energy upgrade only when producing energy, mining when they are producing bluite. I'll mention this is the next mission as well.

The main difference between Pylons from CW4 and Relays from CW3 is that Relays only accelerate packets travelling between 2 relays. Pylons accelerate packets in connections with pylons at only 1 end thereof.

Interesting. That I didn't know; I'm not sure it makes that much difference practically, but definitely useful to understand nonetheless.

@@strategicsage7694 The connection distance for two pylons connecting to a tower but not each other is greater than a direct connection.

17:08 More like CW1. The only ERN portal option NOT present in CW1 for tech is Mine Production.

I'd argue it's more Particle Fleet, because you can ERN units as well as using them in the Portal, much as could be done with Amp Gems. CW1 it was just a case of selecting upgrades, and you couldn't reassign them after they were selected.
