well, it's not really creepy, but I've been waiting for someone to look at Crenel Hills by Hyrule Castle. It's the place with all the broken and hollow tree trunks with wizzrobes and a shrine. it's just always kinda been weird to me
hahhhaa loved the ending!! That girl is definitely the MOST terrifying thing in botw! I actually found Naydras quest/lanaryu mountain to be kinda creepy. So that was probably the worst for me. Oh and the Lanaryu road gave off some creepy vibes the first time I went there, I don't go there much.
If you paid for the DLC, don't forget to get that other item (It lets you choose a spot to warp to in any area) FIRST or you are hosed, hosed, hosed if you attempt to go back later....or open the treasure chest first.
I screamed in horror at the thumbnail. Those trees are the reasons why I rarely went into the Lost Woods. They're so terrifying, even little old me gets nightmares.
Honestly, visiting the Zonai Ruins also kind of gives me a creepy vibe knowing that it used to be the home of an ancient tribe from long ago. Sometimes when I revisit the ruins I sometimes feel the sensation that I’m being watched by the spirits of dead Zonai people or even sometimes I get the feeling they aren’t even dead at all but somewhere in a secret lair plotting for something BIG. Like after visiting the Spring of Courage. I noticed a giant door like structure on the wall behind the dragon’s head.
Their ruins, especially the mazes, are the only parts of the game that feel culturally alien, whereas we can kind of tell that the ancient Hylian and the desert ruins have a relatability to them
The Eighth Heroine. Who was she? Why is she so far removed and freezing alone up there in the cold, misty highlands? That area with the cursed statue whose eyes glow… is that a cemetery for Hateno village? That one shrine by that woman who is the horrible cook, just surrounded by death rot and flies…
Man I just love this game. I beat BOTW back when it came out then dropped it altogether for years. Just a few weeks ago I started a new game since I forgot most of the game, and it’s like playing the game for the first time again. And honestly this is probably the only game I’ve really replayed like this. I’ve played many many games… but this game is so rich with content and immersive, it’s easily my favorite video game. I havent even played the dlc, I’m so excited to get back into this world
Magda is such a let down as a final "creepy" thing 😅 like the video overall, but despite her intense zoom in, she's so very tame that she should of been the first on the list if anything 😂
I actually liked the horse god! I found his design more interesting than scary, I knew of his existence before playing the game myself so maybe that helped soften the surprise. 😅
I also believe we need to speak about the Gerudo Highlands more! I'm not sure but, big open snowy landscapes especially at night unsettle me, like an isolated feeling, and knowing at any moment an enemy could pop out definitely kept me to the high grounds haha
No offence, but none of these things were creepy. Well maybe except Typhlo Ruins, but that’s just about it. Everything else really isn’t creepy at all. I just get the impression this video was made purely because you, and perhaps other people were desperate to find creepy locations in BOTW because people love to find whatever creepy content they can in Zelda games. I could be wrong, but that’s the impression I got. I think BOTW 2 will probably take a much darker approach, and will basically be the Majora’s Mask version of BOTW, like how BOTW could be considered similar to Ocarina of Time. So I think it’s fair to assume that BOTW 2 will have more creepy things in store for players rather than BOTW. Meanwhile, maybe you could do another list similar to this one, except instead of focussing on the creepy locations of BOTW specifically, maybe you could find 10 or more creepy locations from all the other different Zelda games since there isn’t really a list like that on RU-vid so far.
I am totally aware I mispronounced the word, when reading from a script you don't always take note of how you pronounce things 🤦♂️😂 Thanks for watching friend 😃
