I would definitely lock my doors every night after that the way he just jumped in your yard so easily is kinda creepy bc that means anyone can do that and they might not have the same intentions as that guy
This is probably why you should have a lockable box for packages, and just give the one time code to the delivery driver, that way your packages are safe, or at least safer.
Maybe the thief knew about your channel and left the packages in your yard for a potential bored smashing video to hide the evidence, but instead he got more evidence towards being sentenced to prison lol
That's why I like making friends with neighbors and make them aware when packages are arriving or they make me aware when they have packages arriving so we can have them secured until we return from being out from home. It has happened to my household that they stole a package at least once.

King you did good well except the part where you opened their packages. I know they probably won't keep it anyways, but in that situation it's probably better to just bring it over to the neighbor's and have them deal with the police. Altho I am pretty happy the thief was caught and you had footage of him. You may want to do something to increase security in case it happens again.
This is pretty concerning, i’d suggest that if it happens again do not touch any of it and leave your doors locked. Immediately try to contact Amazon or worse case scenario, the police next time.
