I think this was my first video I ever saw of creepy gaming and I remember being so scared of sonic.exe but now I laugh at it, but it’s still a great creepypasta
Mystic Kuro a month was probably the same amount of time I was scared of fnaf, I laugh at the jump scares in those games now and even most of the fan games, now I watch the vr series and I laugh at how sad the jump scares are 😆
@@SlotterYT Oh my gosh, I loved fnaf when I was younger, but the fandom is like..dead so I am out of that phase thankfully. Fnaf is also pretty cringy nowadays..the jumpscares are..pretty cheap now, Scott Cawthon really needs to step up his game a bit.

the editing sucks not going to lie you don't have to relaunch these episodes, they are good already but you instead edited them which makes them look like some kid edited them. but you do good creepypastas and you scare me when I was a kid, thank you, thank you for these memories. I hope you can still keep going until the end.

I don't think Tom's decision to continue the game is irrational. Think about this realistically. If you were him, knowing that games could be hacked and what not, why be afraid? If your best friend sent you a spoopy letter, and a spooky game, you would think it's an elaborate prank, right? And if the details of the story were written better, IF, then Tom would probably come to the same conclusion.
I remember watching this since I was like 9. Did this series scare me? Yeah it did! Did I love the intro? Yeah! And looking back at it 8 years later, I can't help but watch this for nostalgia

This one, like many others, introduced me to Mullet Mike. At the time, I was really scared of cliche stories like this, but of course, I grew out of it. I still love the channel and re-watch old videos.
Rewatching after all these years, I think there was something very special about the compulsion these players had in these creepypastas. Not very well justified, sure, and maybe I'm being too generous, but I like the idea of having little to no power to stop yourself from doing something obviously spooky
Not only is this my first mullet mike video I ever saw but it was my first introduction to what a "Creepypasta" is when I was like 11 or 12. I know about things like Slenderman before this but I didn't realize these type of things where called "Creepypasta"

Hey Mike! I love Creepy Gaming, and I'm kicking myself for not rewatching it sooner. I only have one question, though. Why have these been reuploaded? What happened? If you don't want to say, I get it. If it's a legal issue, there's kinda no way to get around that. Still... some clarity would be nice.
Reviewers were much more forgiving back in 2013.. I don't think it's any surprise today to know that sonic.exe Is a steaming pile of crap, it's been moved to trollpasta wiki and it's author had a shitfit about it
Sonic.Exe is an old story.... And it may be extremely cliche nowadays.... BUT, it paved the road to gaming creepypastas! Like Ben Drowned or Sad Satan, the JVK Morrowind story and NES Godzilla story, it's disturbing back in it's day.... But because of the only screenshot and how it was written, it is an entertaining story instead of a horror story.... Mike, I have to agree with you.... I've been reading Creepypastas since they came out online, I've seen good and bad stories.... BUT, I do respect the stories being told.... That's my honest opinion.... What about you all in the comments? What's YOUR favorite creepypasta from back in the day?

Ah yes Sonic.exe a classic and similar to BEN one to start the fad of clones. It had it's flaws but people write it off now as "just another exe" despite it being the one to create it.

I miss this and I came back to look at this. I saw this in 2014 and that’s when I saw your video when I was 12. Your content amazes me and I love it. I’m 18 now lol so now looking back at this story, I have my own thoughts on this lol. Idk whether to call kyle, who sent the game to Tom, a dumb guy or just a bad friend. If that’s his friend at that. My question is why send the disk to someone who you know would play the game? And if he was “too fast” for you, how would you even get time to make a letter and send it. Why not just go toms house and make him destroy it or how about you destroy it and just end the game. Lol I always had that thought in mind even though it’s a story.
I remember being scared of Sonic.exe now well the story is just funny while people did made good sonic exe games even retelling the story but in their twist like Sonic.OMT who I see as the most creepy version of Sonic.exe/X
The story itself is okay, not very scary in my opinion. Entertaining and decent at best...... but that's all honestly. i like the abridged and other additional commentary. Absolutely hilarious..... also i know the song playing in the background at the start is Silent Hill 4's Room of Angel, but what type of version is that i would love to find it online and download it
