The age old buildings have been successfully renovated by the authorities and turned into spacious hotels, mostly private owned. Thank you Davud for filming the new city and giving more information of these.

if you enjoyed that place, I would highly recommend visiting Sighisoara. It's a small town that's quite close to you that's preserved in it's form as a medieval citadel. It's basically a museum that's still being lived in, and you might find it interesting

“Caier” in Romanian actually means Roving = Fiber that is washed and carded and ready to spin. Generally, a mill preparation and long lengths of carded fiber in about an inch to two-inch diameter bundle. Used to spin woolen yarns.

You have to visit the city sometimes on a sunny day! It has so many more special and unique places that are a must to be visited 😂 but happy you liked it anyways, it has a special atmosphere ❤️ Aaah and you chose the perfect hotel!! (I am from sibiu, but whenever some friends come to visit, they stay here and we always enjoy our time together there on the terrace) it is amazing how well they restaurated the whole property and kept the atmosphere of the city inside every room 😍
Same here ! I just lost my heart to that town. Been there in 2009 and spend about a month in that area. Sibiu touched my soul second to no other place i ever have been to. I lived the first eleven years of my life in Romania before i left for good in '87 and found a new home in Germany. Given the possibility to live in Sibiu i would return to my homecountry in a heartbeat ❤...especially while observing into what shithole Germany had been turned to during the last decade. A word of advice: When you mount the embroidery you purchased, make sure the framers use alkaline buffered ("acid free") paper stock. Also, please consider using UV filtering glass. And finally, be sure to hang it in a place that it does not get direct sunlight. Taking these precautions will help preserve your object much longer. If you mount it with acidic materials and seal it behind ordinary glass--it will deteriorate at an accelerated rate. Direct sunlight is amazingly destructive in relatively short time periods. The object you selected is very beautiful.

Most of the bad ones left the country and they are in the West with romanian passport and they are doing bad things there and they are presented on the news as romanians" but they are gypsies, indian descendents. We are annoyed about them but what can we do at this point?😢
This because u getting daily brainwash from the western /woke media daily there . When the reality its totally different here for the most part . Gipsys are only a small minority here 3.5% , Native romanians are close to 90% rest are hungarians , germans and other nations. But most of them they doing bad things in Europe (stealing , robbing, scamming , etc) outside the coutry ,and because they happen to have romanian passport , we taking all the negative image and press for no reason at all . and they put us all in the same boat as them without having any clue . Btw .they have their own language and habbits that no native Romanians can understand. they also originally from India, but they migrate few hundred of years ago all over EU or some parts of the NA. The history says , that they have bought here from India . few hundred years ago , to be used as working slaves first.
