When I explore abandoned buildings, I've started to become far, FAR less scared of ghosts or demons; Now I'm scared that, when I enter, some maniac druggie is gonna be sleeping in there and go into a fit of rage on me.

Running into other people would be way scarier than anything else you’d run into...

I love that their response to hearing something that sounded like a door hinge squeaking... is to go investigate the doors to see if any of them sound the same. Trying to identify things instead of just throwing out a hypothetical solution and moving on without investigating it is 10/10

i like these videos because it's different from mainstream ghost hunting yt channels. there aren't a ton of cuts, there aren't extreme over the top reactions to the smallest reaction from the instruments, there isn't text telling you what you're supposed to be hearing, it's just completely unfiltered and genuine.

When you listen very closely, you can hear their big balls dragging on the floor.

Consider the concept of a ghost, not as a person who has died and become some kind of entity, but as a sort of tear in time. If you consider the idea of emotion, you know the feeling when someone is angry or incredibly sad, or the feeling of walking into a room with your friends, and everything feels right. Before you even fully enter the room, the air sort of feels a certain way. Now consider that energy, as a stain on that place that is not affected by time. The thing you might consider a "ghost" is not so much the remnants of someone who is dead, but rather a scar in the very fabric of time, that exists in the place where strong emotion is felt. By this concept, one could create a "ghost" and not be dead. Just a theory. ;)

I was a skeptic too for a long time, because I never saw or heard anything that I (or science) just couldn't explain. Two years into a 5.5 year relationship in my early 20's, my fiance @ the time told me that there was "this thing" that would come around him sometimes that never let anyone see it. He said he would get so scared in it's presence, & that he couldn't move or speak, much less scream until it left. He couldn't describe it to me. He had waited years to tell me because he was afraid I would think he was crazy & leave him, or ridicule him. About a year or two later, I actually saw "the thing" with my own eyes as it was presenting itself in front of him in his friend's backyard. I didn't realize what it was at first, but then I realized he wasn't moving or talking. I started walking towards him, & when I got about 10 feet away, the thing zoomed off into no where. I was so shocked that I got really loud & said, "OH MY GOD, THAT WAS THE THING, WASN'T IT?!? OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE I JUST SAW THAT!!!" It had actually LET me see it, & NOBODY but him had ever seen it!! I thought WOW, I must be special for it to have shared itself with me. Anyway, I was making a commotion, & he didn't want ANYBODY else to hear us & think we were BOTH crazy. So I quickly followed him to the house, far behind our group of friends. This "thing" was round, transparent, yet white enough to be seen in the dark, & the size of a bowling ball. I have never seen that same thing again, maybe because we broke up after 5.5 years. I have seen & heard other unexplainable things before & since, but NEVER something like that again!! I still get spooked but excited when I talk about it & remember what I saw that night. I could never debunk it. I know that we both saw it, just wish I knew WHAT that was! There's more to the story, but too much to type.

Just remember, everyone, slight differences in temperature is nothing to be alarmed about. Five degree changes, especially, are nothing to be worried about. When you're in a dilapidated building, with all sorts of air and temperature currents moving in; you have nothing that is insulating temperature, apart from the walls themselves. If you point the thermo-sensor at those doors, especially, (which are typically steel-plated, so they tend to, yknow, conduct heat better) you should see bigger differences. As opposed to pointing it at ceramic plates. My point being, you should only be worried if there's a twenty-degree difference. Even then, you can explain that with simple thermodynamics. If, however, the ambient temperature around you is drastically falling, several degrees within thirty to sixty minutes, then yes, there's something possibly artificial causing the difference. (And to add onto a comment one of you made roughly halfway through; your bodies are well insulated, and aren't giving off nearly enough heat for any real difference in temperature to a room that is experiencing higher fluctuations of lower temperatures. >Entropy.) Personally, I don't believe in the traditional idea of ghosts. I wrote a progressive thesis disproving the traditional ideas, and how many "identifiers" we apply to these supposed beings, are actually quite impossible. All, of course, unless this creatures existed within a realm and dimension that somehow interacted with ours. I concluded it with a simple ending. Our current understanding of sciences disprove the traditional idea of ghosts. If they do exist, we may very well just be examining them completely wrongly, and misinterpreting their interactions grossly. Or, perhaps, we simply need an entire new field of science to explain it. Nevertheless; the idea a supernatural being can be made of energy, manipulate electromagnetic fields, *but then leave cold spots*, is just a little too far fetched for me. Citation: >Law of the conservation of heat energy/energy, first law of thermodynamics, and second law of thermodynamics, all disprove what we see as the traditional idea of ghosts. Perhaps we're miscorrelating, perhaps we're misinterpreting two different things that appear the same. Perhaps ghosts aren't real, and what we're actually experiencing, from person to person, is some form of creature. Because, let me tell you; If a ghostly being like that could genuinely exist, in its own plane, without breaking these fundamental laws of physics (which cannot be violated in any way, whatsoever), then that isn't a ghost. That's a new species of alien we've never successfully contacted. And perhaps they're attempting to contact us through these said mediums and modes. At the end of the day, an open mind goes far. And, so does the scientific method. But, if you cannot falsify a theory, it bothers not your effort and attention. (p.s, this is just a bloody rant, don't mind me. Loving the bumps-in-the-dark series. nice and spooky. And great for simply exploring and having some proper fun with new experiences. Nothing like some adrenaline running.) If you believe in the traditional idea of ghosts, please, test your experiences. Personal experience is almost always never a good firm ground for claims of evidence as the human senses are extremely easy to manipulate. Test. Measure. Document. Repeat. Don't believe in something simply because it has given you an overwhelming feeling, or experience. Understand *why* you believe in it. Then try to falsify your *why*. Hey dudes! Love your content. Wayyyy better than the fake ones on tv and other channels. With The spirit box sometimes the voices aren’t super clean/clear because of the radio waves and the ghosts sometimes need more time to respond to a question without interruptions. Keep up the good work yall

My great grandmother was a patient there and died there as did many many people with mental health issues. She had Huntington’s disease but nobody in the family even knew that until a couple years ago when My Great Uncle, her son, became mentally impaired/sick and I was his POA, so i had the hospital test him on a hunch and I was in fact correct. Back when she was here, it was just thought she mentally crazy and developed Dementia /Alzheimer’s on top of that. Being from central Alabama , I’ve heard a lot of horror story’s from people who had Family there at Bryce, as well as people who were once patients theirselves. Man I’ve heard so many stories about the horrible things done to the patients here and how they were treated so awfully. This is what used to be the State Mental Hospital/ Insane Asylum. The criminally insane were treated & housed here , poor people whom had no insurance, people society threw away and nobody wanted , people just like you and i as well. I guarantee there’s some spirits there. They communicate freely with some and some they just don’t. Not sure why that is but it’s something I know from experience because I always get results from them. I need to go there to Bryce. I’m only an hour or so away
