I was in New Orleans last March, I was able to visit the mythical places where King Creole was filmed, My God you feel the presence of ELVIS in every corner, my heart was filled with sadness, and my tears flooded my face!!!!!!! ELVIS LOVE /// TCB! unforgettable:

Trey Oh my God.. I visited Bourbon Street back in 2002 as part of a 10 day coach trip around the southern states I knew that Elvis had filmed King Creole there in 1958 I even remember walking right past Pat O' Brian's Bar and I never knew how close I was to the Elvis location. I kept thinking at the time I'm sure King Creole was filmed somewhere around here. At Preservation Hall I remember seeing a barbershop quartet they were really great at singing and dressed in period clothing from 1930's but kept raising a printed sign that read ' No Filming No Photos' which was a shame. Guess I should make a return trip now. I also like Charles Bronson he's a legend!! Take Care

Trey, We lived right outside New Orleans for a year in very late seventies, we visited Bourbon street Several times. However ,we did not know that Elvis was there and now we do ,You also bought back memories . Thank You for sharing this interesting location. Arrivederci!

King Creole!! One of Elvis's best films 💜 Thank you for sharing this with us, Trey! I've been to New Orleans a few times and there's no place like it. Not just the French Quarter is great but several other parts of it. I love it!

Hi Trey, I just wanted to add that Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass also filmed his TV Special in 1968 celebrating Mardi Gras its on You Tube he talks about Preservation Hall and entered through the same entrance as you did in this video!! Take Care

True Story - Elvis Performed in My Hometown - Texarkana, Texas / Arkansas ( Twin City ) Sits On Both Borders 45 Min from Shreveport La -- ( 6 ) Times in 1954-1955 - As a Little Girl I didn't realize it - Until My Adulthood - That Auditorium ( Arkansas Municipal Auditorium ) was the SAME PLACE WE WENT EVERY YEAR IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL I EVEN PLAYED ON THE STAGE -- RUNNING AROUND WITH MY SCHOOLMATES -- SAT IN THE SAME SEATS AS THOSE THAT GOT TO SEE ELVIS BACK THEN & ELVIS STOOD --------
