This is the most pleasurable 10 foot kayak that I have ever paddled!!! Quick, agile, stable, and looks great too!! If you want a 10 foot kayak that you can enjoy paddling one day and rig to fish for a tournament the next and throw n go, this is the one!!!! A high quality product made with high grade materials and is made 100% in the USA. A fantastic boat for men, women, and children. I use this kayak to teach people how to kayak and how to kayak fly fish, it is a great boat for beginners for sure, but as a seasoned paddler and kayaker, I truly get pleasure when paddling this kayak.

I like what you guys are doing. Pretty sure I'm going to be a future customer. Other Kayak companies like to put the side handles on the side of the kayak where they interfere with the paddle stroke, and I have to take them off. The first thing I noticed with this kayak is the side handles are on top. Good job.

Very nice I am curious why this color and a few other colors were dropped. Were they just not popular colors. I do like this greenish yellow color. I think it’s called Flash.

I have the ultralite as a dedicated creek boat, the only thing I would change on it is to open up the front middle kiss off and make it a scupper to drain. By the looks of it one could probably get away by drilling a small hole in the center but I'm not doing that!

I'm petite. So I'm looking to have something I can handle myself. But can I take this for a two day river camping trip? Can my dog and gear fit? I'm 5'2" 120lbs and my dog is 30Lbs. I like that this is lightweight, but can it work for camp?

I should add, I'll be using this on lakes, rivers, and the estuary. I live in the SF Bay Area, so there will be some use there, but not open ocean or central bay, just calm areas on calm days.

gcritchleymusic we will be releasing an accessory before the end of the year. I would advise against using the scupper plug for safety reasons

I use a stake out pole with mine. I installed a Yakattack anchor trolley so that I can position an anchor or stake out pole wherever needed. I also have a video on how to install the Yakatrack lever lock anchor trolley on my RU-vid page if you are interested. It is a really easy install.

James Crownover it can be done standing and paddling but if that is the main thing you would like to do I would recommend the LiteTackle. There are videos of both on our FB page
