I know that feeling dude, also, I posted a comment about him two weeks ago while I was in my mourning and went through a depression-like state in the process when he died.
Cress is without a doubt my favorite book in the series. The whole interaction between Cress and Thorne cracks me up because he's so different with her than he was in Scarlet and you can tell he just has no clue what to do with her and I just love it. They're just the best.
One of my Favourite moment is when Cress and Thorne all meet with wolf and cinder .. BC that scene was effing HILARIOUS! 😂😂😂 awkward confused moments that was just wonderful to read!
I love this book so freaking much! Definitely my favorite from the series. I love Cress, she's brilliant. Carswell Thorne is bae. I love his sarcasm and everything he says. Oh, I adore him, he's my favorite character. Not agree about Scarlet and Wolf. I really like them. Not as much as Cress and Thorne, but still they're great. I love love love Cinder and Thorne's friendship! And the whole book was absolutely incredible. There was so much fun, adventures, action and It just blow me away!! I haven't read Winter yet, but I hope everything will end up okay.
How can you not talk about Dr. Erland's death and how he's Cress's father!! It was a really emotional scene and I may or may not have shed a couple of tears haha.
I just finished Cress about an hour ago and I absolutely LOVED it! I kind of agree with you when it comes to Wolf, I understand his grief to a point but it did annoy me that he didn't really do anything of his own accord until the bit at the castle.. he was always just.. there. The scene between Kai and Cinder at the end was the best thing ever, I love how Cinder just stood there like "lol you have no idea you're talking about me and I'm just gonna let it happen" while he went on about Princess Selene. xP
While I read Cinder, I listened to Scarlet and Cress, and let me tell you, it enhanced the story 100000000%. The voice actor does an amazing job, especially with Cinder and Thorne and Scarlet and Wolf and Cress AND EVERYONE. IT WAS SO AMAZING. I cannot wait to listen to Fairest and Winter.

+Pink Lemonade Reads I knowwww. That was my only critique of Cress BUT, I think it had the best plot and storyline, so it still slightly wins out for me! But honestly: Scarlet and Wolf 4LYFE. hahah And just to touch on the "Jacin/Jason" thing: I wasn't sure either but I did listen to the audiobook for a part of the book and it was pronounced Jason! lol
i loved your review on cress EXCEPT the fact you didn't like scarlet, i mean- how- i- ugh. WOLFLET IS BAE OKAY?! i mean, didn't you even die a little tiny bit when she was gone and he cuddled a freakin tomatoe box (i know box is not the right word but i'm not a native speaker and can't remember the right word for it, sorry)? i mean srsly this was the moment of my death. I just finished Cress. I disagree with your opinions of Scarlet and Wolf (they're my babies in this series), but pretty much everything else I'm on board with. I loved Cress and Thorne's dynamic and how they worked together to do what they had to do. And now I need to get my hands on Winter...I need to know what happens to all of my babies! T_T
I love Scarlet and Wolf they are my favourite couple I don't know why so many people don't like them. It's so sad that they always get the worst shit happening to them though they can never catch a break.

2/1/21: Hold on- I haven’t finished Cress yet, brb 2/2/21: Heck, I need to stop reading for a minute XD Gonna read Paolini’s newest book since I don’t want the Lunar Chronicles to end yet. But I can agree, Cress is my favorite book of the series so far. I like the direction Thorne and Cress’s relationship is going, and I can find myself relating to Cress in the way she indulges herself into fantasies and the media. So far one of my favorite female leads ❤️ That reunion between Kai and Cinder also feels pretty rewarding to me after everything that’s been going on between them and their lives. I love ‘political’ fantasies where the characters are pressured by many external conflicts involving social and/or government ideals. It adds a constant flare of suspense to the story and keeps me reading...clearly... :,3 Now if you can excuse me, I gotta go to bed and finish the homework I didn’t do because I’ve been reading Cress 50% of the time XD Thank you for the review ❤️
I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't like cress & Thorne. Cress's obsession with him just weirded me out too much. Like every time she started thinking about him i was just like no stop stop stop it calm down. I enjoyed their dynamic from Thorne's pov. Cress no. People told me think of them like Flynn & rapunzel. I love Tangled...didn't help tho. I just couldn't get into them like that...i enjoyed scarlet & wolf's relationship more

Hello there, Jesse. I love that story and the relationship between Cress and Throne. The moment that made me cry was that doctor's death, it was very sad and it was the first character death I cried over. He won my fancy since Cinder, he just...had a sympathetic backstory and he loved his long-lost daughter. Speaking of death, I normally don't get sad over death, but in this story, I caught a tear on the right lens of my glasses and I would regularly think about and listen to Judy Garland's "Somewhere over the Rainbow", the lyrics of that song fit him for some reason. That's all I got. Thank you from a fifteen year old girl.
Bro I literally agreed with very thing you said. I HATE Woflet only because they are too lovey Dovey and they fell in love too fast. I love how Cress and Thorne have their own moments but they don't exactly get together. Like they kiss ya but their not like bro I love you like what Scarlet and Wolf did. I love how Thorne has those hidden feelings for her that you can see are real but he doesn't clarify them. Also he fell in love with her blind and that's adorable. There is that one scene in which Thorne is like Do you still love me but Cress doesn't answer and then Thorneis kind of sad so you can see that he loves her too. There my babies and I just love them. If anything happens to them I'll kill someone lol. I also love how Cresswell devolop sin Winter it's just great.
Usually a book with a ton of perspectives you get lost in it and its hard to really connect. I LOVE how Marissa Meyer makes every character interesting and likable. I love Cress! I just finished Winter this morning. Its so good! I also never liked Jacin. Hes probably my least favorite character overall. You'll LOVE Winter though when you read the next book. Shes crazy/Luna Lovegood type lovable.
I love the Luna Lovegood - WInter connection! She is a bit strange but who doesn't love/need a bit of that! I am reading Winter right now and can't wait to see how her character progresses.
My fav line is when the doctor is talking to levana and hes like i think you would tear your flesh from your bones having to look at yourself for so long its such an awsome roast 😂 also i loved the kai and cinder kiss it was so sweet
I love winter she’s really different! I also just love Cress and Thorne together! I love how he fell in love with her only seeing her face once via netscreen, and a few glimpses in a falling satellite. Which most people tell me at the end of Cress: well they aren’t together. But they totally are I don’t care what you say. (sorry for the crazy fan girl. I just love these books!)
after i read Cress i finally undertood why people loved this book so much. the part where wolf was cuddling a can of tomatoes because Scarlet was captured was freaking adorablle and sad. just, ALOT OF THINGS IN THIS BOOK WAS SAD! DR. ERLAND!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! WHY!??!?!?!?! currently reading Winter. ummmm!!!!!! I FREAKIN SHIP WINTER AND JACEN!!! love the part where when he was approved of being Winters personal guard she was just so happy. but then Jacen had to be a Kill Joy so he went outside her door instead. but then she took her painting supplies and went outside and sat beside him
My opinion is that stars above is my favourite book. ONLY BECAUSE of glitches, and something old something new. BUT if I had to choose a favourite other than something old something new, then I would choose cress. FIRST FAVOURITE IS SOMETHING OLD SOMETHING NEW BECAUSE OF THE CINDER AND KAI SHIP, THEN, second favourite is cress, third favourite is cinder or winter, then fourth favourite is is scarlet. Yep. honestly i cried as winter was introduced because. holy shit. shes such a sweet, sweet soul, and shes making herself go crazy with it, and her feelings about selenes death and the castle walls just fucking. blew my fucking mind okay I LOVE HER SO MUCH AND I NEED TO KEEP HER SAFE PLEASE and i need her and cinder to become best friends and i need the whole crew to love and appreciate and take care of her. and i need to give her a lot of hugs. i just immediately fell in love with her okay. shes so good
same for me! I didn't like Scarlet that much but I stuck up to the series because I love Cinder.. THEN, CRESS. love it! can't wait to read Winter. haha!
CRESSWELL IS BAAAAAEEEEEEEE CRESS IS JUST SO ADORABLE AND SHE COMES SO FAR WOLFLET IS AN AMAZING SHIP I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY WERE SEPARATED I love Thorne's character development and how he slowly falls for Cress even tho he doesnt think he deserves her And the kaider reunion was soooo sweeet And I love the friend group and how they all have some relationship with each other marissa definitely made a hit with this im actually a cresswell stan but the first time i read tlc i didnt like them because i thought that thorne shouldnt have a relationship and cress was too infatuated with him but by the second time i looked closer and realized that they actually didnt have a superficial relationship, but one where they both have to look past the outside amd try to hide their feelings also we should give cinder credit i mean she ran around dealing with a broken Wolf cinnamon roll and a salty guard and an awkward hacker girl and a blind captain and an old man XD also i think marissa made her have bad ideas on purpose because it was supposed to give her more character depth. She isnt a perfect heroine who protects everyone, she isnt a miracle worker, amd marissa tries to emphasize friendship by showing that the rampion crew made a stronger impact whrn they worked together. I know that sounds likr something from a disney movie but still. This "imperfection" (aka her bad ideas) made her mkre relatable especially since shes 16. marissa did so well with winter! Her writings and characters have such an impact waiting for reaction. I thought winter was slightly insane too at the end of cress XD *me reacting to a random guy's book review on youtube*

I was quite disappointed on how Cinder and Kai reacted when they met. I was really expecting something more romantic I hope in next book Scarlet and Wolf don't end this way
+Emily Ostmeyer no its not mandatory you can read winter then fairest if you want. Fairest is just for queen levanna and why she started acting how she does. It's her back story. You get to know why she hates mirrors and all that other jazz.
In my greek copy of Cress and Winter, Jacin isnt pronounced the way everyone does and i am so frustrated, because now i have him in my mind as yakin....
I'm almost at the end of Cress and oh noooo you did not mention the spoilers so that was just the moment I lost it. I have a feeling that Winter is Levannas' daughter, so I'm kind of excited about this!!
Top 4 favorite characters (people, not androids. Sorry Iko) Wolf is sensitive yet powerful. Thorne is hilarious. (“Thorne, we are not putting *rice* in my head.” “Just trying to be helpful”) Cinder is inspiring and intellegent. And CRESS. My babbbyy cinnamon roll i just love u soo much.

I read winter before any other book in the series (sorry not sorry), and this is definitely my favourite tied with Winter. I don't really like Scarlett either although I found her more tolerable. And Thorne and Cress are deffo my babies.
The truth and only the truth in this video!! TLC is one of my fave series ♥ I love the tree books I read so far but Scarlet is my least favorite. I felft like it didn't add much to the story and though I like Scarlet and Wolf as characters I think their relationship was rushed up. Cress is my favorite character because of... reasons! I ship Chorne so freaking much!!!! Wolf in this book was a pain in the ass but I think the whole Cress/Thorne and the group on the ship made it bearable. Comparing Winter to Luna? I LOVE IT! Luna is my favorite from HP so let's hope I like Winter as much :D

I just finished reading Cress and needed to watch this video. I agree with everything you said, thank God for that break between Scarlet and Wolf. It'll do them some good being separated. I need to buy Winter and I'll be complete.
