Went to Crested Butte the weekend after thanksgiving. They opened for the 2023-24 season the Wednesday before. Only Red Lady was open with Houston & Peanut groomed. They ended up rope dropping Poverty Gulch, Mineral Point, Upper & Lower Smith Hill, Kubler, Tulsa, & Coaster. They had a small jib park open on Houston Canyon.
This weekend they got 9 inches of snow so stuff was still super variable conditions and hazards exist as shown in the video! I fell more than a few times yesterday!
