@@tobiasboston7795 There are no Cretan Muslim Groups. Cretans, as every other Greek are either Atheists, Agnostics or Christians. Those the guy who talks about were Syrians who lived and worked in Crete for a while and some went back while they could talk Greek. They brought with, in some small specific neighborhoods of Syria the Greek culture they acquired. This way before Syria was ruined.

@@Gyneco-Phobia What about all the Muslim Cretans that left after the population exchange with Turkey in the 1920s? We like the rest of Greece were under Ottoman rile for 400 years. (Crete for 200 years less because of the Venetians but you get the gist. Some Cretans converted to Islam just like Greeks did. As the opposite also happened with Turks converting to Christianity (although less common)

I'm lucky to go there every year...my boyfriend has a house in Rethimo. We spend 3 months. The food..the beaches..the views..just beautiful! Unfortunately not happening this year. Missing it🥺

Aside that this place is simply perfection in both scenery and beaches..its the people who make it feel like home. My roots are there..I know. But I must say, i hsve never scene drone footage like this on any promotional video ...anywhere. The editing and perspectives are simply unreal...Props to the video team Btw..the shot coming through the Epitaph, and out, blew me away.
