I just brought a Creworks 2L ultrasonic cleaner from eBay.co.Uk, £65 delivered. Here I review and trial it - then run my 1982 Bosch Cold Start Valve through it. The unit works incredibly well, I love it.
Hey Peter, It certainly removed debris and lots of particles, so ip try it next week (to busy this weekend) and see if it leaks after a short drive . Then I can install my new oxygen sensor, if it’s not leaking..
Problem = he used water with some chemical stuff. He have to get the water out. Problem ? No ! Wrong behinde every edge e.g. in the valve will be water. No big problem for the gasoline or petrol ! TRUE But corrosion Think about my words. It will be your problem . Only maybe. Meanwhile I look what the seller of professional ultrasonic cleaner will tell me or the seller from these chemical stuffs. Yes they tell my use alkaline solution. But I know I have to reduce the water under springs or rubber or ... in the valve. I was at a school and my teacher sayrd decades ago use spirit, because it eill suck water. What did your teacher sayed to you ? Or an other idea ? Yes, after I used spirit (=spiritus), I use the gasoline from the engine and let it dry with compressed air (=low low pressure) Is my idea ok or do you have a better idea ?
Get all of the air out of your valve before ultrasonic is switched on. More power of the waves inside the valve ! Reason = air bubbles are compressiable and the ultrasonic wave generate inside low power, because they only compress with 40kHz the air. I see no air bubles at the stainless walls . Ok very very very well done. Did you used the DEGAS button and degass the water ? Ok more power ! Heat the water up. Then degass the water. Warm water can hold less air molekules in the water as cold water = more ultrasonic power. Only experts say = Please use destilled (=demineralized) water, because the minerals reduce the power a little. Ok the car battery water is cheap , but you have to buy it and yes tap water is very cheap. Use professional chemicals for the job. Read what you can buy. Mainly there are 3 basic different chemicals as a cleaning agent = acid, neutral or alkaline as a cleaning agent. All with a chemical to get soft water (dont know wht you say in english for these water like diskwash water). Rest of the video was ok, but I dont give a thumbs up. Dear youtube viewer use google and some search words. remember nearly all RU-vidr are no ultrasonic experts and we see these in there videos. You know that a manudactures from these ultrasonic cleaners (the expensiver professional brands) know how to work with a ultrasonic cleaner ? Ok Later you think = I look for the webpages from ultrasonic chemical seller for professional customers and read. Well done ! My thumbs up. It is so easy to get professional knowledge. But please dont go with hundreds other youtube viewer to the local seller for professional ultrasonic cleaners. Clever, but to poor salesman ....
