I hope they can get any seats that won't be used. Guaranteed a number of people won't be able to make it at 4:30 today when they'd planned for Sunday at 1pm.
Capitalism strikes again. Big corporation worth billions takes advantage of free labor and gets by with just giving them scraps of food for their efforts
@@mattp4079 Well, also because the city didnt want to pay the extra billion, billion and a half for a dome with no long term financial benefit. Everyone keeps saying the team didnt want to build a dome, the city also didnt want the dome
@@Paulsdutchblues I live near the stadium and that's how it always goes with snow removal. Also the news story here literally says $20/hr towards the end of it.
Can we get a frigging retractable roof on this new stadium please? This is ridiculous. If you think the players like this your wrong. It negates our advantages.
And there were idiots mad that the game wasn't played yesterday, I mean truly ranting and raving about how the game should've been played. The conditions there yesterday were nuts. It was like basically being in a hurricane, except for snow instead of rain. 4" inches of snowfall per hour is absolutely absurd and it shuts down everything. PA doesn't get winter storms nearly that bad. We get maybe 1ft in a big storm once a year, maybe every few years we'll get a bigger storm than that. But this is on another level entirely. Not since the Blizzard of 93 has Pittsburgh seen anything like this.
You must be one of the lazy Democrats we won't see any Democrats in their shoveling snow I guarantee you never waiting on a wheel for a chicks this is the most snow 7 foot of snow you can't plan for this don't get it though you're at home waiting on your welfare check
At this point I really don't care who wins. The point spread is out the window and its going to come down to the most determined running back and hoping the ball doesn't turn into a flying brick.
$20/hr in 9degree weather, plus a hot beverage! Sign me up! The county taxpayers are paying for a new uncovered stadium across the street. Its uncovered because the teams owner says football should be played outside.
Why not put roofs on these stadiums and also have them temperature controlled? It’s ridiculous! That way the fans and players alike can all come out rain or shine. I’m sure no-one wants to be subjected to stifling hot summer days nor freezing winter weather.
Honestly yea the owners don’t give a damn but also you are promised free food after and you are just there with other local fans . Idk but I see this as a win lol
If you've seen what the 24 hours of shoveling to this point Has Done You Realize by game time tomorrow the seating areas are nowhere near ready it's going to be a disaster
They really need to get an indoor stadium. This is just crazy to try to play in these kind of conditions. It is going to be difficult enough for people to get to the game given the driving conditions./ In addition, people are going to have any issues with just trying to stay warm for the game. I wonder if there were medical staff on the premises if someone's health was impacted from having to work in bad conditions like this. The Bills need to stop being cheap and build a new indoor stadium so these kind of games become a thing of the past. They might also want to build the road leading to the stadium with over hangs so the snow does not pile on the ground and create dangerous driving conditions. They should also be paid $50 per hour given the conditions that they were made to work in and not $20 per hour. Cheap owners.
I don’t understand why they don’t just have the correctional facility in Alden just transport the prisoners to shovel out the stadium. Why are fans shoveling out the stadium
I mean, they are getting paid $20 an hour to volunteer. During the playoff drought they used to pay in game tickets, though those are a bit too valuable now
20 bucks hour is not a volunteer? I'm from Boston and usually we sre hired to clear snow....If you are paid above minimum wage, thats not volunteer work.....That's called working.
And yet the new stadium will not be domed, what a stupid decision for a building that sits vacant all but maybe a dozen or so days a year - tax payers are getting ripped off.
You really think Bills Mafia care bout the pay? Lol they are just having fun and making a lifetime full of memories shoveling snow for their favorite team. I’m sure a bunch of them will do it for free. 😂😂
And Steelers Fans are calling BillsMafia soft ? How is it that Steelers Fans wanted to see the game Sunday and be stuck in the storm ? No one in Pittsburgh understands what Lake Effect snow storms can do. This is what can happen in Orchard Park in Winter. If Steelers fans or players died because of the storm you would be mad. The League and the Governor of New York did it right
That is stupid because whatever team would win this game would have less than 4 days to prepare for the next playoff game and let their bodies heal properly to allow them to perform their best. Let’s just have them play next weekend then they can play this game and immediately fly to the other stadium and play the next game within hours in that case
@@michaelkissner2284then guess what they would have to delay the next game . I don't know where you're from but I'm from Buffalo originally I know what that s***'s about. You want 70,000 people to drive in snow to the stadium it's a mess.
@@michaelgregorio2438 I’m in Florida and having been thru hurricanes and having to drive thru flooded streets after they come thru 10-15 times a year I can say I understand how the elements work and how tough it is to drive in them. They should’ve just moved the game to another stadium and played in a safer environment like the giants stadium or something since they’re already in new york
It would be really cool to see the energy these people put into shoveling a stadium into fighting crime in Buffalo, hmmm...it amazes me how Americans care more about foot ball than real issues...sad...
YOU could be out fighting crime but no YOU instead put your energy into complaining about other people not using their energy to fight crime 🤡...sad...
