This isn't a stunted up set of pics, I took it when Shire Hall's amiable custodian/caretaker/keyholder 'Spitfire Steve' rolled out the 'flying machine' a heavy duty giant wheelchair barrow for a fun lady who was attending a party up the the gods. Steve brought her down, balloon and plant, to a safe landing in the atrium with great care, for he was and is a great guy and we spent many a happy hour chatting in his little side office on the right of the entrance,. or when Courts One and Two were slack. Sadly the party was over when the Court Service pulled out and moved down to a purpose built ivory tower opposite the Crown Court, New Street. Ah the good old days.
