rapp560 Nah it is odd that he doesn’t have the accent here. Anytime he was interviewed when he played for the Eagles you could always hear it. Just listen to him in this clip at around the 0:35 second mark ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-temBxA-zTrE.html He pronounces “process” as “prawcess” He says creaytif instead of creative. Among other things. Tell me that’s not crazy. And he’s in LA so it’s not like he’s back in London. Shit is strange b 🤨
It is about time for Boise State to move up to a power 5 conference. The Pac-12 would be the best geographic fit, but the Pac-12 might not be in any rush to become the Pac-14. The Big XII has a problem though, and BSU could be part of the answer. They are looking at being frozen out of the playoff very often as they exist now, with no Conference Championship game to determine an undisputed champion each year. Four playoff spots, 5 power conferences, who gets shafted? Easy, the one with 10 teams and no Conference Championship. The NCAA says a conference has to have at least 12 teams in order to schedule a Conference Championship game. The Big XII should add Boise State and BYU and divide into East and West divisions.
***** Starting in 2016, conferences with only 10 teams are allowed to have conference championship games. Unfortunately for us(Boise State) conference realignment talks will not happen unless we see some other sort of rule change that may prevent a power conference from making it into the 4 team playoff.
BleedBlue7227 The rule change is news to me, probably predictable though. At worst Boise State is "stuck" in the Mountain West for awhile, and has to settle for just winning an average of a dozen games or so per year. Bummer. And the Mt. West is a pretty solid conference, probably the strongest of the G5 conferences. Really the best thing the Broncos can do is just stay good.
***** I like your idea. I myself am a K-State fan. I miss having 12 teams however we missed the playoffs because of Florida State. Contrary to popular belief the Big 10 should consistently make the playoff regardless with programs like Ohio State, Wisconsin, Etc. The ACC will not consistently make the playoffs and with the departure of Winston and FSU at it's prime the ACC will move back behind the Big 12 and we will once again have a sure spot without 12 teams or a Conf Championship game simply because our conference is superior to the ACC. I still like your idea though.
Jake Wilkerson Boise State has a good rivalry with BYU, and they had the beginning of a really good rivalry with TCU. They have split the 4 games they have played, 3 of them were bowl games including Boise State's Fiesta Bowl win. The one regular season game was for the Mountain West conference championship Boise State's first year in the conference. TCU won by 1 point and wrecked a perfect season for Boise State. They were all very competitive, hard-fought games, all important games. It would be great to continue that, the Broncos want to be at TCU's level.
+Jake Wilkerson As a Kstate fan lololol What does the B12 making the CFP have anything to do with you? Kstate aka Juco recruiting 101 won't ever make the playoffs. Especially once your 200 yr old coach dies :) BTW if Texas and OU decide to ditch the B12 , Kstate will be relegated to the AAC😂😂😂
90 guys in a program and only 13 on the Seniors/Graduation Board? At least they showed a study area which is more than most do...so I give them credit for that!
They have a better shot at getting into the Big XII. The Big XII needs to add 2 teams and have a Conference Championship game if they don't want to be frozen out of the playoff every year. They should pick up Boise State and BYU.
***** I may be wrong but in 2016 conferences that only have 10 teams(BIG12) will be able to have a conference championship game. So they are not going to rush into expansion talks immediately. Plus, Colorado State could even get a invite over us to the Big 12 with the addition of their new on campus stadium.
DWDrummer Yup, that is why it helps them so much each time they get into a BCS/Elite 6 bowl game. The big payout gives them a major shot in the arm. It doesn't make as much of a difference for a program like Oregon that is basically backed by Nike, but for a smaller program like BSU it makes a big difference.
Pulled Hamstring in practice in early September didn't play until early November behind Lamar Miller. Made debut during Buffalo Bills game, ran for 41 yards on 5 carries averaging 8.2 yards a carry, next week against the Eagles he would run for 48 yards on 6 carries averaging 8.0 yards a carry, ran for 27 yards on 6 carries and a touchdown against San Diego. Also caught 7 passes for 90 yards throughout the season and what would've been a TD against NYJ if a hold wasn't called.
