Reason's for India's defeat -1) ICC should have made sure that all matches should have been conducted properly, match abandoned due to rain really not acceptable in a tournament like World Cup. 2) Umpiring was below par throughout the tournament. 3) If Ind vs NZ match would be completed the same day, India might have won, since NZ were under tremendous pressure on that day and were bound to make mistakes but the next day they were calm and composed which really helped them to take the control and momentum. 4) Most important is the ICC rules of DRS, firstly it's only one and then when Ross Taylor was given out by the umpire, it was overturned saying the ball was pitched outside the line of impact, whereas in some cases outside the line of impact there are some decisions that were given out. It's really difficult to understand what the rules say and who decides it. If Ross Taylor would have been given out, it would have been a different scenario in the context of the game and we would have won the match.
