With so many Indians and west Indians living in the states, playing cricket at the Olympics in America is a no brainer..

It's being done for south asian viewership. South asians no matter where they go, they watch cricket and US has a huge South Asian population. I really hope, with Olympics cricket can reach more places. As it's similar to baseball, maybe countries like japan, korea, Cuba might like it.

Honestly Olympcs 2028 is happening in USA Los Angeles, but Cricket is not that popular in USA like other sports NBA, NFL & Football have more popularity & fans are craze for this sports in USA. Yes it's good step by ICC to include cricket in Olympics games but the thing is cricket is only popular in England, Australia, New Zealand & in Asian countries if you look crickets as a sport outside of these countries for example Europe countries & south American country people dont know much about cricket & if ICC are able to bring that kind of popularity for cricket in Olympics then can succeed otherwise Cricket won't have that success in Olympics games
