This video impressed me so much. Especially when you said that you would be donating this heat press and purchasing your own. I do have the Cricut H P 2 and I like it even though I sometimes wish it were bigger. I balked when I learned the price of the new Cricut lamps a few weeks back, but guess what, I did buy one. It is not perfect but I do like some of it's features. It is not as bright as I expected. Now, how do I justify spending a thousand dollars for the Cricut Heat Press? I don't know if I can right now. I have looked at many heat presses, both new and used. You are right in pointing out their bulkiness. I am now convinced that when and if I do buy a large heat press it will be the Cricut Auto Press. I just picked up the Cricut Autopress at Michael’s for $799! I became a sublimation and htv addict 3 months ago. My home business is doing great. Thank you for always giving amazing tutorials.
OMG Miss Jennifer. I am so grateful that you take the time to show us, in detail, how to use these Cricut items. I save all of your emails so that as I have time, I can go back and look at them. I've been crafting ever since I turned 50 which was about 4 years ago. However, I still consider myself new because I'm still learning all there is to the world of crafting. I am operating my business(es) in a debt free manner, no credit cards to charge items I desire, so it's taking me a while to buy the items I would like to add to my inventory. This one will definitely be added to my "Blessed List" of items I want to purchase. The Easy Press WAS on my list but now it will be replaced with the Autopress 🙂This item is so user-friendly and is easy on your hands, wrist, arms, etc. Thank you again for your time to share with us. I know sometimes we base what we think an item should cost on our budget but this is worth what you will get out of it and what body parts you will preserve from using it. You really can't put a price on health. You're either going to pay now for it or more later. I love this item. They really put some thought into making this, all the way around.❤
I love the fact that it self adjusts the pressure and also the presets. The price is too steep for me though at this time. Thank you Jennifer for another awesome video!!!🤗

My husband spoiled me with this for Christmas, on sale of course. At first I thought I would return it but honestly im in love with it. Even for the casual user I already see myself doing more bc of the time savings this has for me. But for sure sticker shock would have kept me from buying it for myself.
She received hers for free, she’s lucky. I’m not supporting cricut anymore they are acting like they sell apple products costing more and more money. This takes the fun away from projects 😔

Thank you for this great tutorial! This is a very nice press and the auto pressure is amazing, especially for sublimation projects when pressure is so critical and you really just get one shot to get it correct.
Hi Jennifer, One person asked the same question that I have. When you pressed the design on the board you were only able to get part of it did you move the press and press the rest? If you did how did you make sure you did not press some of the design twice? You are so great at describing items that come out. Thank you for all your work and keeping us all up to date.
Yes, my board was like 20" long, so I pressed one side, then moved it to the other side and pressed it. I probably was pressing a part of the design twice -- but it didn't matter, as it would have only been a little bit. Still worked great. :)
Wow! I'm impressed. This is a premium product with a premium price of course. I am the one off iron on maker, right now, who does vinyl on occasion. But if I had a home business or made pressed items often, I'd definitely be looking at getting this. You explained it all so well.
It's not being released in Australia until later in the year, initially I was like "I'm not paying that crazy price" but now I'm reconsidering. I really am impressed by it. It will likely be $1500AU here and I'll have to save but I am totally loving the look and features of this machine. I have a 5 in 1 press but am not overly in love with it, I love how high this one goes - almost no risk of burning myself at all.
I think the Auto Press is great, but unless you had a business that would be making a lot of T-shirts I just can’t say it would be practical. At $999 it’s not for the everyday crafting mom or grandma. You always do such an amazing job showing how to use theses products. You explain them so anyone can understand how they work. Thank you so much for showing this. I’m okay with the price. I’ve seen heat press with less features over 1000. I love my Cricut machine. Will definitely be saving for this one. Great video!!
Sometimes I wonder if people really listen to what is said in the videos ....This is not for the hobby crafters, this more for someone who do this for a living, for some one running their own business....for those who want a knock off from China, remember you get what you pay for, and those complaints about guarante you get cricut warranty and you can always purchase extra warranty for 30 dollar more or less...as for me i am planning to get one as my little business grow...and I love that it doesn't have the attachment, I can work on mugs and tumblers as the same time that I work on shirts, for me that is a time saver....Thanks @Jennifer Maker for an awesome informative videos ....

Your description and applications are on point as usual. For me to justify that price, an order would have to pay for it. Real talk. The time saving feature is very impressive. Cricut is masterful at innovation and design. Overall, this press, I have to think about it a bit more.
Ohmygosh!! How cool is this! Cricut has been busy with the new machines! I’d love to be left alone to play in your craft room! 😍 It’s crafting heaven on earth! I’m a gadget person and I want every Cricut machine, accessory and tool that comes out! I could start my own business right away! Unfortunately I have to wait until my health gets better to handle the harder manual labor the AutoPress would knock out. I’ll get there one day with my old Cricut’s help. The Autopress, Hatpress, Mugpress & light pad sure look like a lot of fun though. 💖✨
Here is something most didn't think about, if you do pop-up shops this press is easily able to take along with you. You can also store it in different places in a upright position. It looks table-top in size.
@Jennifer Maker I know people that have great results with a combo press kit from Amazon around the $250 range. That's the press for shirts, a press for mugs, and a press for hats. Three separate presses for $250. So I can see maybe $499 for this, but guess that's just me.
I received my auto press today. Wow! I love it. It was easy to set up and my first press was an infusible ink shirt. Perfect press! Thanks for all this invaluable information.

First off, I'm a huge fan. I love all of your videos, and feel like we almost know you and your awesome little family! I've purchased the full Cricut College and have completed all of the projects except the leather (I finally have the materials). I'm looking into buying the Maker Academy Weekend pass when I can afford it, if it's not too late. When you're doing the wooden sign, you say that it's 2" thick, it looks like it's actually a 1" thick piece. I would love to have you show us a press of something that's a true 2", like a small saying on a 2x4, which is still actually less than 2", but close enough. I bought the auto press mainly because I like the option to move it and store if needed. I craft in my bedroom and I’m quickly running out of space. I also have arthritis in both hands and my back. This could be a lifesaver for me 😊
I love that you even stated first that its pricey. I can’t even really afford an easy press 2..but I plan on buying it. Maybe ill put away some money for the next year and get it then.
Ok the price is kinda insane but I would happily pay £899.00 and I’m not lying because I absolutely love Cricut and their machines get 5 stars. The Cricut autopress is more for big business. 😊😊😊😊😊😊
@@angeladaniel209 exactly…I would hate for people to buy it because it looks good. For $999, it is very impractical. 1 month after buying it, you will want a bigger heat press and something that can be used with different brands of HTV. Definitely for the Cricut Loyalists!!
I am in love with it. I have been wanting a clamshell press, but couldn't decide which would be best. I use the EasyPress2, but there are times when I need more pressure than I can apply. I found making the sublimation jigsaw puzzles, that I didn't have even pressure causing fading in spots. This would be perfect. Thanks for the video.
Like you said, this isn't an entry level heat press. That said, I think the one feature that is missing is being able to put the shirt onto the bed of the press so you are only pressing the front (or back) and not through both thicknesses. I do it on my pressing mat and it is so helpful getting everything lined up. I do like the way it comes down and that you can get a board under there. Unfortunately I also think they're being released at a bad time, I mean Cricut didn't know all this would be going on but gas prices doubling and groceries going through the roof and it being a high end press... I hope they do well anyway.
@@Cricelia completely agree! Even if you run a business that’s still quiet an investment when there’s others products that do the same if not better for less. I get that Cricut is trying to be innovative but hopefully there’s a lower tiered price version coming out.

I so could use this as my space is limited and I’m using the smaller easy press 2 I believe however as a mom of 4 I can’t afford it :( maybe a miracle will happen one day. Love your videos
Glad I watched the video and thank you. The heat press is seems to be Awesome but perhaps I'm the only one but I would like to start a business and this would really help but I simply can't afford it. But that won't stop me from viewing ;)
You can start your business small. Once sales increase you might be able to afford the autopress. And btw, If you buy it for business, it’s deductible as a business expense.

I will have to save up for this machine I like its features for I have arthritis in my hands it cannot be holding down the easy press for a long times I also like it that I don’t have to figure out how much pressure I need for my projects thank you for the information
They made this for people who have money and want a premium product. Or if you really want it you can save up or buy on installment. my phone cost more than this press
Thank you so much for this video. Cricut has lowered the price on this once again, (march 2024) so it's more available. I just bought it today- mostly because I suspect it will save me from a lot of mistakes - and therefore also money and going crazy 😄
