Hi Rachel, my name is Rachel too. :) I am using Cricut to make a stencil on a paint washed type framed piece of wood that I got from Hobby Lobby. I was thinking I would need to NOT use permanent vinyl since I will be pulling it off after I paint the negative space and don't want to pull off the finish on the the painted surface. I also don't want to make it unnecessarily difficult on myself when I need to pull it off. But after watching your video I'm not sure. Should I still use the permanent StarCraft if I'm going to be removing it after I paint around it?

I sooooo needed this information. I did a bulk order of sister vinyl and I am so lost on what is HTV and what is adhesive vinyl. The wording does not specify. I’ve had many epic fails.

Will that work for a cricut joy xtra too??
