Yes! Finally! A brief, straightforward, easy to follow, step-by-step tutorial without any unnecessary commentary. Don’t get me wrong - once I learn the basics I love project videos w/ lots of extraneous, funny, social dialogue. But when you need the basics, this is much better.
I use parchment paper or butcher paper. It protects the heat plate from whatever you are using (iron, heat press, etc.) from the materials being applied. This is super important when sublimating with ink - such as transferring images on a sheet of sublimation paper onto a shirt. A sheet of parchment/butcher paper is needed both on top and underneath to prevent getting ink on the heat plate above and the mat underneath your project.
