They mayor spoke of a symbiotic relationship with law enforcement. A working symbiotic relationship would be allowing the citizens the ability to protect themselves, their loved ones and their community. The city government has failed to protect the citizens because they cannot be everywhere at all times. Law enforcement is reactive. To place all the faith in someone else or organization to protect you is a foolish ideology. It is as foolish as sitting in a corner hoping someone will walk in and protect a victim before harm is done. Communities have already reached out to law enforcement who at times have failed to act through responsiveness or in action of the judicial system.

It's the crime and it's enough. Tired of the mayor and governor with their heads in the clouds. Stop catch and release. Stop giving felons the minimum sentence. Start giving criminals the maximum sentence. It doesnt matter to the victim if you catch the perp after the attack, what matters is to prevent the crime before it happens. Allow citizens to carry self protective devices like stun guns and stun canes. Stop throwing obstacles in the way of law abiding citizens from getting carry permits. The people of the city have had enough.

Since when a postal office carry that much cash, that's kinda wild. If I was the husband, ram my car into the van and casue a bigger distraction .
