You want to stop or minimize crime? You have to keep young people on the right path before they turn to crime. Unfortunately we wait until they’re committing crime then it’s just hiring more police and building more prisons.

I have called 911 and crime stoppers more than once to report a house in Long Island City where I was told by multiple sources they have children and whores held for transport and transactions the house remains there unscathed no one is doing anything no one will do anything. I researched the house it belongs to an agent/real estate agency when I called I didn't want to mention anything of what I had been told because obviously I am scared of something happening to my own kids. So i just asked about the house and he said it was for sale but no one was allowed to go inside nor see photos of the home prior to purchase. The house is covered in black fence so noone can look/step in it on 24th St. btw 40th and 41st Ave. There is another across the street from the PORT AUTHORITY behind or above (not sure) DAFNI a greek restaurant, im not sure if it still exists, but it was next to Burger King, Same situation no one has done anything about it. It's terrifying. To think noone will help.

It's hard to find a decent paying job with a college. Imagine not having an education or legal documents to work. Then all you have is working some dead-end job and then you have to pay taxes and high inflation costs. What are the choices are?

@@ishma2100 They are day laborers. I don't think they pay taxes. They stand at a corner and someone picks them up for work. Cash pay at day's end. Far as I saw, they then proceeded to spend their money on cerbeza, since I often found men passed out on random people's front gardens. There's also pee on doorways, even saw one peeing behind a garbage can on the elevated train station. So if you're walking below and you see water dripping... Also a common sight were grocery bags filled with human sht discarded under shrubs and bushes.

The Supreme Court has ruled soliciting isn't a crime so prostitution shouldn't be a crime yes unconsentual is illegal but if both parties agree to paying shouldn't be a crime

If anyone remembers, in the 90's HBO had a recurring documentary series on the flesh trade in Hunts Point and other areas of the south Bronx, but most specifically Hunts Point.... This has been a recurring problem in that area since the 80's, nothing new... Not to minimize the gravity of the situation but it's nothing new. NYPD vice squads have been in that area for decades but can't put a stop to street prostitution. Same with Rossevelt Ave, Jackson Heights, while not as notorious as Hunts Point it's still a major prostitution hub.. Not sure you can ever put a stop to women selling their bodies and men buying their services..

back in the days, gals had to be be a least a 7 or 8 to be a lady of the night, ugly gals did not make any money, nor did the pimps recruit ugly gals, it is only when crack came out, the standards plummeted...... I had a lot of fine ladies of the night and most of them were not on drugs, like now, it was the economic struggle back in the 70s, those that lived it can relate........

@@merovingian688you have some high-end in midtown, Brighton Beach on Forest Hill Queens who who make anywhere between $2,000 to $10,000. No pimp and no taxes. These ladies didn't have to go to college and to take out student loans. Don't have the struggles in this horrible job market. Some of them are smart enough to invest in 401k and buy houses without a mortgage. They go on trips. Shop and eat well. They even have enough money to bring their family overseas to this country.
