One day she understood the conversation about a tv show and excused it that she watches it on her computer. He said a computer is like a super tv. But yeah, basically watched ALL the shows, but thought that since it was on a computer it was different.

I think it depends on their ability to act. I grew up watching SNL through the 90's and early 2000's. Like when The Rock was on SNL he was pretty much the lead in every skit. Alot of the people they get on here now days I don't feel can carry the skits.

Charlie's a seasoned comedian, so they can use him as the starring role in sketches. Sometimes when the guest is not a comedian, they don't risk putting them in the lead roles of the sketch, but use them as side-characters.

I think they just take a note of the acting range of the host. Adam Driver is a great example of a non-comedic actor coming on as a host. He hosted twice and it was amazing both times.
