The concrete company should pay for all costs to this tragic accident.

Turning things around and trying to blame the school district for not having seat belts is mind boggling. The guy did drugs and slammed into a bus with kids, seat belt or no seat belt, it can kill someone who gets rolled. 😤😭

❤❤❤❤❤I have to admit this is love from a whole Community. I felt the love when the teacher and the neighbor spoke. The acts of kindness. My heart overflows for the family and the community. My condolences to the family and the entire community.

That’s heartbreaking. I couldn’t imagine being in there situation. God bless that poor innocent baby who lost his life. I know he was 5, any mother will tell you that is a baby. He had his entire life ahead of him. I hope these people who are effected will find the strength inside to get through this difficult time.

The government are responsible to have every school bus a seatbelt.

The reason one student died is because counties used to NEVER care about Seat Belts on School Buses, at all. I also find it extremely outrageous that all counties and states across the United States, never even try to equip older school buses with new seats and seat belts, or even HVAC systems when temperatures become unbearable

It’s baffling that school busses still don’t have seatbelts. Of course seatbelts would save lives! Especially in a rollover accident! Those babies poor little bodies were tossed around in a metal bucket! And why wouldn’t you at least use the ones with seatbelts for the long range field trips..? A junkie in a concrete truck + a bus with no seatbelts = tragedy!

It might not have had seatbelts but any Pre-K to kindergarten SHOULD BE IN A HARNESS NO EXCEPTIONS!!! That school district let those children down big time!! It took the death of a young child to get their attention. The mentality behind them is "oh it's never happened so don't worry about it" That's the excuse I got one time and I'm sorry that excuse does not cut it with me. You think of everything that could go wrong can you take affirmative action. Push until your voice is heard and taken seriously then these things may not happen to another family.

If you think Texas has more laws, better laws protecting children... you obviously haven't been paying attention.
