@@user-ht9mb6mw9d Silencers don't make a bullet weaker. Also there are automatic weapons that fire pistol caliber rounds, MP5 for example. I think you meant to say rifles or automatic rifles.

A vehicle like that is most likely only made for criminals that will probably treat him as poorly if not worse plus he also has mostly likely has had more messed up clients because he works in the criminal world

@zbigniewstonoga802 mate the guy deals in the black market, you know he's 1. More heavily protected than that van 2. Likely has more body guards than the president of any country and 3. A loyal customer base who'd be pissed if the dude died. If him pointing a suppressed pistol at him was really a threat to the guys' life he'd be dead. And he's buying an armored van, specifically a bullet proof one. Yeah, he's gonna test it, you can tell even the seller fully expected this. Real world be damned mate it doesn't have shit to do with 1. Black market dealing and 2. Movies
He would've a suspicious van with bullet holes for his heist. Bulletproof doesn't mean that bullets wont leave marks, only that it doesnt reach the passengers.

@@gareths9574 you can verify a vehicle is armored without shooting it, but that's boring, just dont show that part on screen. Show the audience it's bulletproof after the heist, when cops are shooting at it.
I really wanted to like the movie because I enjoy the director’s other films, but I just couldn’t. Predictable plot and cringey dialogue, felt like I was watching a Rob Zombie movie tbh.
@@Trundle_TheGreat that’s really interesting. Rob Zombie usually has very vulgar and face paced dialogue which doesn’t really help you attach to the characters but rather highlight their personality. While Dragged Across Concrete was more focused on making the characters look smart and have their own way of thinking. The dialogue makes the good guys seem like real genuine people compared to the cold hearted killers who have no emotions for their actions. The first couple scenes when Mel Gibson’s character enters the apartment and then he interacts with the officer and Vince’s character to let them know everything that he knew up until that point before he busted the door, giving the audience the feeling of knowing everything the characters knew as well. It really set the pace for the movie and I’m not really sure how this plot was predictable? The plot was given in pieces and allowed us to infer what could happen next, keeping us guessing, but then completely doing something unexpected. It’s really interesting how we have totally different views.

If some people can very easily make educated guesses on what might happen next, and some people can't, that doesn't mean there's a difference of opinion on the movie. It means the ones who can guess what happens next, simply have decent critical thinking skills. Despite what some might say, not everyone possesses the ability of critical thinking. Some people genuinely are incapable of using logic and reasoning to determine outcomes. I already know nearly every possible response to what I might say to someone, and can quickly narrow it down to a couple of the most likely responses, all in a a matter of seconds. There are people who straight up legitimately are incapable of having the internal dialogue necessary to work through the possible outcomes. Just to be clear, it's not an insult to say this, it's just a fact of the world. A lot of people are incapable of internal dialogue or even picturing things in their head, which both (especially combined) help immensely in critical thinking. It's weird to even think that some people apparently have nothing going on in their head but it's a very common thing.

Just bc its up armored doesn’t mean there won’t be bullet holes all over the body panels, the armor is inside the panels, having your heist van full of bullet holes isn’t low profile at all

I like how unimpressed the salesman is.😂 Like, " they always do this the first time.😂" dude thinking he is some super assassin but you meet people you dont trust at a location you didnt choose and you show up last. 😂😂😂 if the salesman wanted dude dead he would've had him.
I assumed it was "bulletproof" enough since I don't think a van is enough to escape once authorities are breaking out firepower that can still get past the first level defenses.

@@technorunner1 its pretty damn close compared to the sound of metal slamming metal separating from that almost dragon breathing fire ‘voom’ sound from each round let off, you can imagine the sound of your gunshot echoing off a parking garages walls but not over the sound of something that take and deflect those small calibers off of it which would be louder bouncing around than a suppressed handgun firing would, the initial shot yeah maybe but thats why he shot multiple times too was because the sound of the van being smacked like that would overpower his overly intimidating test shots
Depends. You can make up to .556 "Hollywood" quiet (where the only noticable sound is the action and slide), but for that you need subsonic ammo and a massive suppressor that looks like a old flashlight. Firing supersonic rounds through a suppressor is never going to make it quiet, just less likely to cause hearing damage.
I was thinking if the rounds didnt squish they fragged and that unknowing factor would have had me stepping on the other side of the van lmao if he shot me he loses a supplier and has guys wanting him dead which would be dumb and harder to achieve whatever hes wanting if a guy has the supply to provide a “bullet proof” van then hes probably also sold other guys stuff that could blow up that kind of vehicle too. Gun runners probably have this happen on a rare occurrence but most dudes buying from them don’t try things like this cos they know the dudes too much trouble probably why the actor just stood there but in reality youd move out of the hazard zones while also perceiving yourself as a nonthreat
IRL you don't ever point a piece at a dealer selling major hardware unless you want your organs painted all over the ground. Only a dealer who is too broke AF to pay for help, completely new to the business, or colder than a penguins butt cheeks would meet a lone client and allow him/her to keep a weapon much less POINT IT AT YOU during the sale.
Skin Walkers are solitary but Wendigo are pack animals IIRC, idk if you could house them together. Plus Wendigo need a UVB light and Skin Walkers just need supplements in their food.
The goal in a heist is to be well out of Dodge BEFORE they pull out the rifles. They aren't supposed to try leaning out the window with a long gun during a pursuit so what you need is pistol-proofing and tires their spike strips can't stop. If you're going for a rifleproof shootout with the fuzz than you don't need a van you need a surplus Brinks truck or something similar.
