Hey I want to say 2 things number 1 CONGRATS ON 40,000 SUBSCRIBERS!!!! And number 2 at the very beginning it was so weird for me you know when it says "the reports from your previous case are completed. Now you can work on the next case" I saw my name and for a minute I thought someone had the same name as me but then I saw the avatar and I realised it was me and I was a little bit too hyper XD I know it isn't a big deal but I just thought it was so cool :D
Sorry, it's a common story-telling trope. It's named after the one reason why you should not mess with bear cubs: the mother bear will get violent faster when her cubs are hurt. When an female character gets extremely upset or protective of a child they are close to, and the easily way to tick them off is to endanger said child. The best part is that while this trope can easily apply to mothers who love their children, this can also apply to those who have a strong bond (like Carmen does with Sanjay). And yes, the trope has a male counterpart called "Papa Wolf", since male alpha wolves tend to have the same instinct as a mother bear (as do mother wolves).

The killer may represent the same or similar skills as to Katniss Everdeen. But SILVERee is obviously the representation of the TV/Gossip Anchor in the Hunger Games. I think Sanjay represents Peeta.. He kinda does become naive at times.
