I swear this was the cutest NON-RELATIONSHIP relationship in the world. From day one the sparks between them was amazing. At first I wanted the show to 'SHIP them but then I thought "PLEASE DONT!" and I'm glad they didn't listen. Their back and forth banter kept and made the show so SWEET with just a little kick of SPICE. 9 I hated when he left but I was glad they didn't kill him off because that left the door open for if he ever wanted to come back or visits

derek morgan is the only character who can make baby girl endearing...

I love it that Derek can be busy on crime scene, he will always pick up the phone when it's Garcia on the line. The best definition of true soulmates. They fit so well.

I’m so torn…I love close platonic friendships but damn…I want these two together so badly! They just fit so seamlessly together. *sigh* it’s weird cuz I do think there should be more platonic friendships between women and men but…this one kinda hurts my soul.

I’m so grateful they kept this platonic. It would’ve killed my soul if they actually became a couple and ended up breaking up.

What I love most is that Garcia didn’t join the FBI the traditional way and it totally explains why she’s whacky and ‘unprofessional’. They characterize her perfectly before you ever learn her history. She got caught as a cyber criminal and offered a job, so of course she’s not a buttoned-up agent type. She’s literally a code gremlin that traded up from a dirty basement to a security clearance.

I love their platonic friendship...but a the same time, they have more chemistry than any of the actual couples on the show.

I always just love watching the faces of the various cops around when Garcia’s on the phone 😂 Like the team always looks vaguely amused but unfazed, but the cops who aren’t always around their banter is just GREAT.

In a weird way, this makes me sad. There are way too m any people now who would be offended by Morgan calling PG Baby Girl. They had a deep friendship. Yes, he's gorgeous & fun to look at. But what they had was magic. One of the very best pairings on TV ever!

I wanted them to get together for the longest time when I got into this show after my mom discovered that Shemar Moore was in it because we remember watching him as Malcolm Winters from The Young and the Restless. He and Kirsten had the best on screen chemistry on this show and I was upset when he left. "Talk dirty to me." is forever iconic in my book.

Started re-watching the show a few weeks ago from episode 1.... Can't WAIT to watch the new season (if you didn't have it yet, add Paramount+ to your "try free for a week/month" list in a few weeks when theyre all released)! I'm waiting for more to be there before I binge the whole new season at once. Dunno if Derek will be in it, but looks like most of them are back.
