Hello, good entusiasm, congratulations about it, but nearlly all you did is wrong and not correct 1. Cutting must be very nice and 90degrees. 2. You cet with abrasive flex dics - must clean the hose inside perfect. Otherwise all this dirt goes into the hydraulic system and the dammages will be ve, very big 3. Hose you are ussing is R2 standart, good but see the Original one was compact hose. Too big diffrence in the lifetime.
1. Cut was a nice 90 degree. 2. Hose was cleaned, nevertheless good advice for anyone. 3. Compact was not required for this application as there were no tight turns. Weather is the biggest factor for hose degradation because I don't have a shelter for my backhoe. Turns out I didn't do everything wrong, and still willing to learn.
