"... and I swear it will be the last step. Kind of. Almost." Lol this is how I am when I paint. I get really fiddly towards the end and keep going back to add little details until I'm happy. The reference painting is stunning. I LOVE how the paint drips onto the ornate frame. That is such a cool detail. Well done!

Pompoween is 365 days a year in my heart and soul! Never over! And I agree on the art thing. I am forever adding to my walls, little or big! Art is part of my DNA, my momma is an artist and so am I! You did an INCREDIBLE job on this one!!! I have a beautiful memory of when I watched Crimson Peak... my boyfriend, daughter and boyfriend's son had come home from doing a ghost tour in a mortuary in Tombstone, Arizona - a very haunted and infamous town of the Old West. They had three working mortuaries going full time for awhile, there were opium dens beneath the main street that they collapsed on purpose, killing a lot of people that weren't allowed to walk on the actual street, and of course the famous shoot outs... lots of death! Our tour had a history part where we got to see the old mortuary tools, old embalming fluid bottles, the bullet holes in the walls and we had a chance to go under the floor where there was a opening for storage and a tunnel out under the street. I declined that part because I'm tall and it was creepy af! Then we had the lights out part of the tour where the spirit box was picking up words and phrases. The spirits asked if my daughter was married (she was 15), and she and I were touched - her right foot was vibrating and my shoulder blade was vibrating in one area - feelings we have not felt since that night, it was on Halloween proper with rain. We didn't see anything appear but the touching was there, my daughter is autistic and she is matter of fact and very literal. While I was feeling my shoulder blade vibrating, she asked me why her right foot was vibrating and told me it wasn't like the feeling of when your foot falls asleep. I then spoke up about what I was feeling though my fella swears I was just imagining it, lol. But long story short (sorry), when we made it back home, we decided to see Crimson Peak and I loved it. I wanted to keep that spooky feeling going! My boyfriend is not into horror movies at all but he wanted to make me happy - hence the ghost tour! I also think our hotel room down near Tombstone was haunted, too. I heard sounds and smelled some weird smells that I can't actually explain, everyone else was fast asleep and I have trouble sleeping in hotels, I was wide awake. The hotel was very empty and the sounds were loud in the room and not the hallway. I heard my fella snoring but I definitely heard footsteps near my side of the bed. All in all a cool Halloween!

If you had knocked on my door lookin' like this when I was a kid I'd have never been all right ever again, and I mean that as the highest compliment. Your normal human voice coming out of that look at the end was so weird lol. That Brom painting was amazing, I'm so jealous but so glad you got to see it in person! I went and looked up the ghost makeup from the film after you said to and damn. I kind of wish they hadn't CGI'd them so much, they look so SO incredible on their own!

I love using neon colors both in my makeup and in my art. Because the colors are so bright, they really sell the ilusion of light hitting certain parts of the work, so yeah, neons are great _highlighter_ colors (pun not intended, but it works).

I love Guillermo Del Toro. In my opinion Pan's Laybrinth is one of the best movies every made and I've watched a lot of movies. I haven't seen Crimson Peak yet but now it's on my list. Watched the trailer after seeing your thumbnail and really looking forward to it - and scaring the living daylights out of my teenage daughter - mwa ha ha!!!

you said your skin breaks out easily because it reacts to makeup. does that happen to ‘normal’ makeup products, as in day-to-day ones like foundation, concealer etc? I feel like that’s the case for me. if that’s the same for you, is there any way you minimize breakouts?

Hey! Do you have any tips for making old grease paints work? I have some that I think are old and it’s IMPOSSIBLE to make them slide onto the skin without it being super patchy and just thick

If the texture has changed that means they've gone bad. Don't use them on your skin, you could cause harm. Makeup expires and it's not worth risking your health. I'd recommend buying new ones.

When I first tried to watch it, the screen said that the video was unavailable. It was like that for me until maybe around 8ish. Then I was able to view it. I’m not sure why.
