If they put Harry's scar in the middle of his forehead then they wouldn't have had so many continuity errors where his scar migrated! Also always thought it was weird that everyone would comment on Harry's green eyes like Lily, fully looking into Radcliffe's blue eyes

Thank you for explaining everything. I had not seen JK’s tweets so was confused as to why many were denouncing her. It made me sad. My husband introduced me to HP and the Wizarding world in 2020 during quarantine and fell in loooove.

I love this, I think these are good points, Harry Potter is one of my ASD special interests, so it's also a huge part of my life that I'm not sure how I would get rid of if I tried. I actually quite like the films personally, there are so many details from the books that I wish were included but they are so calm and nice and chill to watch. I get really nervous that so many people want new films to be made because now-a-days I find films are way more focused around action and I don't think it would be as charming if they make it all flashy and fast paced (like the Crimes of Grindelwald disasters). I will just stick to Stephen Fry's audiobooks and pretend it's a film, haha.

One of the biggest issues, for me, was the ages of the original Order and most of the adults who were cast. Lily and James Potter were 21 when they were killed, Sirius and Lupin are 33 in PoA (all born between Sept '59 and Aug '60). It's meant to be so, so tragic because they were at war and just so young. They're my parents' age; my dad was tall, gangly, unruly dark hair in glasses, so he was my stand in for James when I was reading.

while I was watching this, i had a small plate on my laptop that had crumbs from a cinnamon roll on it and I kept smelling the cinnamon and thinking WOW I can smell the pumpkin juice! and then I would look down and think oh it was just my plate. 5 minutes later... WOW I can smell the pumpkin juice! Oh wait, it is my plate again. Repeat like 3 more times lol. Smell-o-vision!

ok now my actual comment about the video: THANK YOU for saying this and voicing your opinion, Harry Potter helped me bond with my older brother, and I saw myself in Tonks so much since one day my brother said she was like me (back then I had no idea what Harry Potter was) I loved the message of the books, and seeing Jk Rowling being so toxic just broke my heart, Im glad you made this video cause I would really hate for people who find comfort in the story to completely give it up just cause the creator is shitty, let's not Give Rowling any more power, let's reclaim the story for what it celebrates: empowerment. And! let's not forget, EVER, the trans rights are human rights!!! thank you so much for this!

I loved this! Plus omg this is me with regards to Ann Rice books and movies. Interview With A Vampire was during my teenage years so when I was able to, I bought every Ann Rice book pertaining to Lestat and the Vampire saga and read them to death. The books were always gonna outdo the movies but omg did they ever fuck up with character choices, I sadly watched the movie (Interview With A Vampire) before the I was able to read the book, but when I did read them and rewatch the movie, it was a trip. Some of the choices the movie house made was so damn out there and nonsensical (more so if you did read the book) that it took away from the movie ( but I loved and still love Antonio Banderas and the Brad Pitt/Tom Cruise ship was real lol) and so that by the time Queen of the Damned came out, I was truly intrigued/wary to see what they would do. Good grief that movie was amazingly terrible!! lmao At least it gave us a pretty banging soundtrack if nothing else.

Its sad how the merch usually becomes so ugly and uncreative after a thing becomes a movie. I remember getting a set of all the Narnia books, and even though it was sold as a set, because the Caspian movie came at that time, that book had the movie poster as the cover and was half an inch taller than the rest. it looks so annoying on the shelf.

I agree that the new Dumbledore had a wildly different energy & design than that of Richard Harris' version of Dumbledore, as well as from the Dumbledore portrayed in the books, but I feel like they did that on purpose to preserve the legacy of Richard Harris. Kind of how like every version of Batman has been identifiably different from each other to avoid too much overlap between actors. The only thing that really bothers me about "new" Dumbledore is that his energy gives me "young" Dumbledore vibes. Like, Dumbledore de-aged himself between the second & third movies 🤨
