This happens when a director,who is in his bad phase, but he has a Good story but decides to stretch it into 2 Parts because that's the trend and that's how many movies gain hype for it's 2nd part and with this : The Movie becomes BORING and CRINGE
The fact that Shankar doesn't know what CBI is by itself shows how ill informed he is. CBI officers does not carry guns or wear flashy vests or chase criminals. They do not show themselves off to the public. Even in a real world scenario like that, it would've been the Central Forces/Special Police/Army who would've chased him. Nedumudi Venu had beautifully acted it out in the first part. Subtility is what sets them apart. Moreover, there was a scene where a DGP level officer walked along Bobby Simha (a low profile CBI officer) and addressed him as "Sir". That was so stupid lol. Ik most people wouldn't even have noticed it but these are minute details that I look into. Ha, the entire movie is whole septic tank, what else could I have expected anyways!

Script got spoiled because of kamal hassan, firstly the script revolved around tamil Nadu corruption but kamal hassan told shankar to change because his political image should not be damaged cause, that corrupted udhayanidhi Stalin promised him to give some seat in his party, kamal hassan due to his laalchi Ness advised shankar to include unnecessary Gujarat, punjab other north Indian bull shit corruption story into it, that's why you feel bored after 1st half. *remember this is not original script by shankar

I completely agree with you, all your points are accurate and explained really well. I live in a place where the theaters are very less. I walked 8 kms to watch this movie and I was disappointed.
I'm not gonna lie, Sankar is the inspiration and the reason why South Indian movies are considered as 'Cringe'. His movies are so loud with big budgets and big stars that they mask all the good and sensible movies of south India.

Yeah I already knew this was going to be cringe as hell from the trailer. Also hilarious that the movie is giving the same message as Vought does in the Boys universe. Also realistically 99% of the population wouldn't give a f*** about Senapathy's message. Most people do what they do for their family. People make the country, not the other way around. Parents were protecting kids long before the concept of Country, patriotism, morals existed, even before humans existed. And it will never change because it's instinctual. Also what era do they think we are living in with this cringe action scenes. Senapathy would get folded like lawn a chair by a 13 year old. At least Rajni in Jailer goes about it in a realistic way with hired help and guns to compensate for physical power, and he is much healthier.

All the problem exists in Scripts, ajkal Achhe writers ko hire nahi kia jaa raha, writers ki cost cutting movie mein hi ki jaa rahi hai directors khud ko hi writers samajhne lagg gye hai.

We just appreciated Mr. Kamal Hassan in Kalki and this masterpiece dropped. Funny how script can influence the acting of any actor, even one as experienced as Mr. Kamal. This was, overall, a picture that was built for that nostalgic fan-base who would torture their eyes and brains to any extent in the name of nostalgia.
