The wolves that were domesticated were actually scavengers that evolved to lived off of Human food waste. They didn't hunt much anymore and hung close to human settlements. They became what is known in anthropology as "Camp wolves". It was inevitable that a connection would be made and they were bred to be more tame and sociable.

Connor, I'm 70 years old and this trifecta Trump-Covid-WW3 is by far the most stressful, frightening, infuriating and - yes - impossible few years I've ever experienced. Vietnam was a suppurating open wound, but at least it followed a certain twisted logic and was marginally under control. The insanity of the last 6-7 years has been an order of magnitude more maddening and terrifying. Just keep being who you are and inspiring us all with your honesty and compassion!
