The fact that Don is not gonna recognize half of the cameos, references and importance of some scenes like Kevin Conroy's batman and Tom Welling's superman, THIS crossover has to be the best for him ngl
Hands down the best crossover of the arrowveres. The suits, the storyline, the fights etc. this is literally peak arrowveres!! It would’ve been better if we could get Thea, Roy, the martians, guardian and the hawk people to join the fight. Also every crossover is also a way of solving with any problem we were dealing on individual shows. The firestorm issue, Alex break up, Oliver and felicity relationship, and iris and Barry’s wedding. It’s why it was double wedding with all four characters.
@@avobeamar yea but there are major problems with the storyline for that crossover. For starters Oliver becoming a cosmic being doesn’t fit with the theme of the show. Like for the most part all of Oliver missions had regular situations, barely any super powered people, which mainly only happened if it was a crossover. But for the most part as a stand alone it focused on regular threats. And the concept for Oliver being cosmic being was only because of the thought Oliver being the one who started the path of superheroes in this universe. But that’s not true. Oliver's show was the first show in the Arrowverse but it was confirmed multiple times he wasn’t the first hero. Before Oliver there was the Batman. He did have a robin (Jason Todd), an oracle (Barbra Gordon), and Alfred. Before there was the JSA team. On supergirl's earth superman existed long before she did. Black lightings earth black lighting was hero long before Oliver too. Oliver show was the first in this universe. But didn’t actually start with him. The other reason for him being a cosmic being was just about him bringing all the heroes together. But that’s not true either. In the invasion crossover Oliver said that Barry was the one who brought them all together. Going to Kara’s earth, getting the legends for help, going to team arrow, he actually inspired most of the heroes cast on earth 1. It’s also why Oliver put him in charge. And it makes more sensée for him to be the one who becomes a cosmic being bécasse it fits the theme of his show. Barry is connected to the speed force. The speed force is connected to everything in time. Past, present, future and the multiverse. Which means Barry dying for the multiverse fits so much better. vanishing in crises by dying and coming back as cosmic being connected to the multiverse itself. It fits. You just could’ve Oliver retire and past the hood down to his daughter. The only things I liked in that crossover was just the cameos which were kinda cool and then felt a little messed up in a way. Like making flash from the 1990 show die at the very last second felt kinda disappointing because it built up to being our Barry. Plus it sucks because it connects to the 1990s flash old show which now because of the crossover he doesn’t have a happy ending. Neither did the ray plamer Superman from anyone who was a fan of his movie. And brought in Lucifer but to get into hell when earth 1 version from legends of tomorrow is not the same hell as Lucifer’s so didn’t add up. And left a lot of questions unanswered about mave and Constantine. Plus they didn’t really have legends involved since the majority stopped wearing their suits and not much of a fight in the crossover. Just mostly chi raiths and shooting. And forcing Cisco to be vibe again which didn’t lead to anything. Build up to john becoming a green lantern since elsewords, having him do cameos on all the shows after crises just for him turn it down? Nah. Even if he couldn’t have his own show they could’ve had him be superhero like jay garick or miss Martian. Just imply he joined them and pop in from time to time. Especially since we had green lantern child on star girl. And the fact they did an off screen kill for Jesse quick who we got to know fro two flash seasons with no actual funeral or Wally morning or something. Just hanging up her suite with a hanger? Dude.
Fun Fact: The actor who plays Snart, is actually gay in real life. His name is Wentworth Miller. He was also in another TV series show called Prison Break, his co-star in that series is Dominic Purcell (aka Heat Wave) in Legends of Tomorrow TV show.
yeah also the actors who play tbag and john abruttzi in prison break show up as villains in arrow, vertigo, an the clock guy, clock dude shows up in the flash too. holds hostages in ccpd

It’s so painful. He’s watching this without being caught up on anything but Flash. I get it’s a lot but that’s what this universe is. You’re going to be so confused if you’re not watching the other shows.

I’m mostly hoping he watches legends of tomorrow pretty much just for season 2 since that season is also Barry’s fault. And I mean also Wally is in season 3 so there’s that too.

The actor that played Kid-Flash wanted to focus on his music career and other acting rolls. That's why he wasnt really in the season. He inly signed in fir a handful of episodes.
I could be wrong but I think he decided that later on. Around the time of this he left The Flash bc they barely used him and went to Legends (who used him a lot more). It was only after S3 of Legends that he decided to focus on music and stuff; maybe he was kinda over it bc of how The Flash treated him?
@@LooseAsADEUCE Every time Don wonders why Kid Flash isn't there because he could make things so much easier for the good guys? That's the reason why the producers didn't have him on the show. It's hard enough making one speedster have trouble with the villains.
@senhowler True, but they coulda wrote in some reason to still justify his existence lol. Legends explained it as some of their problems required slower finesse so he couldn't just speed around, so The Flash coulda come up with SOME reason.

It's whatever. At the end of the day, I'm not gonna expect him to watch 4 or 5 different shows just to keep up with the crossovers. Yall expect too much

We're 3 minutes in and Don has talked more then he's actually reacted to the episode. Jesus Christ this man's mind is on constant overdrive. It's like ADHD but on crack hahahah.
Some of your questions can be explained by budget. They wrote Wally off at the end of the first episode because they couldn't afford to have him in all the episodes. They kept the mask on Tommy until the second episode so they could use a stunt double rather than the main actor (though he was on another show that filmed elsewhere and was literally only in Vancouver for a few hours to film the one scene with Oliver).

Supergirl and Superman team up in the first two episodes of Supergirl season 2. They FIGHT in the last episode of season 2. And Supergirl's best fight overall was season 3, episode 9, "Reign".
Elseworlds is also fun because it’s just about Barry, Oliver and Kara, and some surprising guest stars. Yes it’s a smaller scale crossover but it does have a huge impact on The Arrowverse’s future.
Best crossover. Hands down. It puts everything else to shame. I like invasion, I really don’t like infinite earths, and elseworlds is cool. However this has the best villains, shame they were only around 4 episodes, the best action in any of the crossovers, and the final fight FELT like a crossover final battle. Also the earth x theme is the best motif in the arrowverse and I’ll fight anyone who says otherwise. Also stein’s death is hands down the saddest part of the arrowverse ever.

They used Stunt doubles for the masked doppelgänger scenes and the actors themselves for the unmasked doppelgänger scenes and then edit clips from both versions of their characters together to create a scene. The actors have to do the same scenes from both perspectives

Actually the reverse flash from this crossover is not the one barry captured in flashpoint. The story of the one he captured in flashpoint continues in the legends of tomorrow season2, which is very good.

Actors don't get paid more for same sex kisses, but the actors playing Ray Terril and Leo Snart happen to be gay.

Still holds up as the best crossover to come out of the Arrowverse. Not one wasted moment. Every character had a purpose, no matter how minor. Terrific dual role performances. Somehow the Inhumans mess got a brief theatrical window, but Earth X didn’t. I’ll never understand that one…
legends of tomorrow is only about travelling through time on earth. each episode is different with their great story that can span for multiple or a whole season. plus you get to enjoy every crew member that is casted. From charcters from arrow and flash tv series. but still your gonna need to massively get caught up with arrow first that introductions the show. I know your loving the flash more but a lot of stuff happens first in arrow that branches out to flash and legends of tomorrow. So get caught up with it more please.
You should watch legends of tomorrow. First two seasons are nice and then from there on its just funny as fuck. Also Eobard Thawne is main villain of season 2, with some recurring cameos every now and then.

Snart in the main earth never expressed his sexuality, altho the actor is gay, but earth X snart is gay and it's a safe assumption earth one snart was too.
Legends is the most wacky and fun of the shows in my opinion and is a great watch if you really enjoy the characters Season 1 is very serious but it gets more fun as the show goes Like really Fun Oh yeah and Also Wally is in it
This is my favorite cross-over out of all the crossovers in the Arrowverse. And please watch Legends of Tomorrow. You missing out on so much. It's one of my favorites except season 4: too demonic and it really good.
