Crispy Pancakes for the first time in 30 Years 

I remember saying to my old Nan that i liked a crispy pancake- thats all she ever gave me after that! happy days

My daughter loved them when she was young ..She liked the curry ones they used to do..Keith u should try making your own ones bet they would be even better😉😉

God I used to love those pancakes when I was a child...

I was eating these back in the 80s and i loved them. They were by Findus and were not around when I was a kid in the 60s, made do with fish fingers back then. Recipes today on everything, have been messed around with and nothing tastes like it did.

My 2 daughter's now aged 47 and 40 used to love the Findus crispy pancakes,beef ,chicken or cheese. Luckily my friend's husband worked at the Findus factory and he used to by them from the factory 25 for £5.that was in 1985. He could get fish fingers and fishcakes cheap too. Another friend worked at Rowntree Mackintosh's and got me sweets for the kids my favourites were Walnut Whips and tins of Toffee Penny's. And at Christmas she got Tins of Quality Street and other sweets. Oh how I wish these factories were still here now. 😋

These were great back in the day. Hopefully this rerelease will be an improvement to what they were in recent times.

Back in the 80's we grew up on findas crispy pancakes,but like you Keith haven't had them for years,until this video didn't know they still did them.

We bought some ham and cheese ones to try in the freezer, not eaten these since a child too. Thanks for the great videos

loved these as a kid , shallow fried and used to put one in a slice of buttered white bread eat like a butty.

The type of item you buy once for nostalgia and never again £2.25 is pushing it's luck, you can get a good frozen pizza for that.

Everything old is new again! Yep a new price and someone has fiddled with the recipe guaranteed! Never had these in Australia. Just those Pop-Tart things that ruined the toaster if they leaked. I think I'll stick to the Pastizies. Cheers Keith 🤤👍😀

Who yes was only on about findus crispy pancakes on pancake day and wondered if you could still get them used to have them years ago and the beef and onion was my favourite I'll have to get some to try but many old favourites are not the same reinvented second time round just look at still open all hours. thanks for telling me you can still get them 😁 👍👍

My Mum and I tried some a few weeks ago. She said they are crap compared to what they used to be and that they were made by a completely different company.

Sounds like the changes improved things in alot of ways, that price for 4 isnt bad at about 56p each. What you could do is try to make your own.

Do you remember the packs of crispy noodles, I can't really remember what they were called now but I think they have them in my local coop. I'll have to look at them next time I go there. I'll let you know what they are.

Nice to see, fancied these many a time but never found them. Last time I purchased them many years ago I recall them only having a few meaty specs in them and very little gravy. Might have to go hunting.

I always buy birds eye food but im always disappointed when i read the ingredients and not once has it contained any birds eyes..must very let down try harder birds eye..
