I grew up eating fried green tomatoes that my grandmother made. But all she did was cornmeal in butter. I know there's a million ways to make fried green tomatoes but that's what I grow up with
We always had a garden when I was growing up. Me and my mom went out to it every chance we got. 😅Daddy would tease us that we’d never have any ripened tomatoes because we’d cooked them all while green. We only battered with salt and pepper corn meal and fry them. When the need arose we pan fried or oven baked them. I can’t wait to try your coating. Thanks for the memories.
