Wow, this is so insanely inspiring.... Not to be restate what she said, but it was pretty insane how she was an at-risk, suicidal, teenager in MIDDLE SCHOOL, and then now, because of AVID, she's an AP honor-roll student graduating in the top 3% of her class and training to be a SURGEON. Wow!

I watched this at school bc were in 5th grade at edwin a lee schol and we were watching it as an example for our gradulation ceremony avid speeches
