They are just morons with no sympathy. Only when they’re in the position of those people who tries their best and get laughed at by the crowd, those morons will open their fucking eyes and know how it feels.
@@DrYesorno This is why sometimes i hate some people who think they're superior than others, they think its okay for them to laugh at someone who's tried their best just bcs they had a broad knowledge
@@MonkeeRush ok I will not laugh at your english because you tried your best. "Laugh at someone who tried his best" would be correct. I swear I am not laughing at that!
@David De Goat I don't know why you're replying with same comment to others as well. And I don't know from where Messi's name comes in this video. Love football, not an individual player. Hating legends will take you nowhere.

@@Governor2310 I don't really know much about him since I don't live in USA, but the concept stays the same: You can be bad at what you do and if you're a small fish, the hate you're gonna get is small compared to a widely know person.
That japanese kid probably learnd how to speak portuguese a month after that interview, graduated from highschool at the age of 16 and now works for a technology company and drives a bmw
FUN FACT: At Sporting players teased Ronaldo over his accent, as he came from an Madiera he sounded different to the main landers. He Clearly hasn't forgotten this and doesn't want others to feel how he felt. Proper LEGEND
That is a true story. He also once walked out of a class room because the teacher didn't understand him. Both Madeira and Aç(z)ores have very strong accents and it's difficult to whoever lives in the Continent to understand.
Japanese doesn't use a Latin alphabet, unlike most western languages, including English. So learning English would be extremely difficult for this kid because he has to master associating sounds with symbols (letters) that are completely new to him before he can even learn words or grammar.
you dont know how much power a voice can hold. if ronaldo made a video telling people to kill themselves, i bet you that some people actually would kill themselves.
There’s a lot of people in the audience. I’m sure there’s plenty of people who didn’t laugh and really enjoyed applauding the calling out some of the asshats around them received.
He wasn't trying to help his pronunciation, although it would appear like that if you don't understand Portuguese accents. The kid was speaking in a Brazilian accent. He said "Boa tarde" ("good afternoon") in a Brazilian accent (most Portuguese courses are Brazilian Portuguese), where it is pronounced "boa tarChee" and CR replied by saying the same thing but in his native accent ("boa tarDeh") as he would if a Portuguese person said the same thing to him. Peninsular Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese are mutually intelligible, CR would have thought nothing strange about someone speaking with a Brazilian accent. I am not a native Portuguese speaker and I understood the kid no problem - his Portuguese was perfect. Celebrity ass-kissing media trash picked the wrong celebrity ass to kiss that day. Props to CR.
Bruh wut? Comments like this seem like they're written by an AI attempting human humor or something. They use a common structure for a joke, but there's no intelligible joke
I've known several Japanese students here in China studying Chinese, and the majority of them refuse to say a word unless they know they can get it perfectly. So for a Japanese kid to get up in front of an entire crowd and his idol and try to ask a question in Portuguese is, to me, extraordinary and to be nothing but commended. So yeah, fuck these cockgobblers in the audience.
I mean, we can't judge everyone for some people's act, I found that he was giving an excellent attempt especially for someone who never heard of it, it seems that some people can not respect but this is not just in that crowd but in nearly every other crowd, and I am Portuguese and that boy at his age gave an amazing really amazing attempt, the language is hard and I even tend to forget it as I speak English on a daily basis (right now is an example) but yeah I do agree, put them speaking Japanese or even me and I will probably stumble on words and pronunciation.
@@liliyoon476 Portuguese is incredibly hard for most languages. But yeah Spanish people and portuguese people have an easy time learning each others languages!!
Uhsb Wyhwj every single person on this planet can be an ass...just because you're a celebrity doesn't mean you are perfect. We're all the same after all.
This must have been a dream come true for that little boy. I'm not talking about the fact, that he was able meet his idol, but that he saw his idol covering his back, knowing that people in Japan and the entire world where watching.
Yes, obvious Brazilian accent but most Portuguese language courses are Brazilian Portuguese. He said "Boa tarChee" and CR replied "Boa tarDeh". The only native Portuguese speaker in the room was CR and he understand the kid just fine. I am not a native speaker and I understand easily. Why laugh at him? The media tried to kiss the wrong celebrity's ass that day. Both the kid and CR put in great accounts of themselves. CR didn't become the player he is by not trying to better himself. Some people just don't understand what is important in life.
Ankur Ghosh Well I mean to be fair. The intolerance as you've put it. Is taking place in Japan. So a lot of them aren't going to be as friendly or lenient about some things as some Western Cultures are.
Kid made an effort to speak his idol's native language. He's acknowledging Ronaldo as a whole and really emersing himself. That's not silly. Kid just really respects the athlete that much.
Eecute well, First of all where are you from? Here in Spain we get very clear info on what happens in the football World every single day. This guy speaks some decent Spanish and back then he said some stupid things. Basically he thinks he is superior than everyone and more than once blames his team, and only his team because they lost a match, but that's just an example. I'm sure people think he has always been a great guy, but people just get news of him when it's about a goal of him or a win or him winning an award.
me too, but when they start comparing messi and ronaldo and some madrid fans bring up bullshit facts to try and trick you i unintentionally start hating him
+Jir Kawa stop trusting them and don't give a fuck about them? you trust your opinion.. if they say bad thing about you in real life would you trus them? just believe what you see. not hear things you don't hear.. sorry if my english is bad huhu..
He is absolutely right. He knows exactly how it feels cuz i have seen how nervous he used to be during his English interviews at Manchester United for first few years. Most of the people who speak only language will never know the situation.
True story. This kid went on to win the national high school football championships here in Japan last year. He wasn’t in the starting 11 but I’m sure meeting Cristiano changed his life in a positive way!
Ahmed Yaser this does not make him not arrogant. It just makes him nice. You can be arrogant and nice, one does not interfere with another, people just make it do.
@@kibbit1373 ronaldo is actually portrayed arrogant on the pitch. He always wants to score and is very confident which makes him look like arrogant. Outside the pitch he is no where near to arroganr
Christiano Ronaldo has proven thousands of times that he is absolutely great with his fans and he is a generous person. he certainly has an ego but that brought him to where he is now. if you don't know, he grew up in a very poor family and has a history of being mocked at Sporting CP (due to his accent). btw, if you are that good in attacking play you should probably be that guy that remains in front.. ever heard about Madrid's strength in counter attack? who do you think is decisive for this?
Unfortunately that is how a lot of people are - just scumbag sheeple. As long as they are in a group and no one is held accountable they will laugh at your face and humiliate you. BIG RESPECT TO THE KID AND TO RONALDO!
Vladimir Makarov all people there was laughing to the kid that people behind of cameras are ignorant if some1 is not from USA or UK then it's really normal for speaking bad English
Owl. If they Say burro they might mean about a donkey the animal,it's in most of the cases but if they Say like "eres muy burro! Or eres un burro!. Etc " they're meaning that the other person is dumb or stupid, depending in the way they Say it. When they Say chocó it means " crash or smash" in past, or they might mean about a Colombia's state called chocó. The spanish is a very opened leanguage and one of the main complexities that it has is that the meaning of the Word can change with the context of the sentence and the way of talking. I think thats it... Good luck.
Johnathon jagodzinski they really aren’t 😂 they have similar sounding words as does English in comparison to Spanish, but it’s a totally different language.
Johnathon jagodzinski They may sound similar to you, but they’re both totally different languages, and this is coming from someone who speaks Spanish. HECK; I wish I could have the motivation to learn italiano... maybe next year 🤷♀️
Cr7 once was a street cleaner, people used to laugh him that time. He understood solidity well. The young boy won the championship in that year, he is encouraged by CR7 of course his idol was CR7. Thanks to you CR7 for your encouragement for the younger generation. Keep it up 💪👍👌
PM Seddon Basketball is just people throwing balls. Baseball is just people hitting balls woth sticks. American football is just people running into each other. Boxing/wrestling or other variation are just people hitting each other. Golf is hitting a ball with a metal stick.
IG isn't a very reliable source. I saw a post on it with my picture claiming I'm a dead Indian princess. I mean seriously?? I am a dead Indian princess though. I haunt the internet and hand over minor curses like 'you'll get uncontrollable, explosive diarrhea with endless loud and smelly farts on your first date with your crush or on first day of a new job' etc. You too have the curse now btw.
RONALDO knows what its like to give effort, what its like to struggle, what its like to try against all odds and he respects those people who does that.... that is actually what makes success more beautiful and satisfying
I guess the media wanted Cristiano to have a ego at that moment and laugh at the kid with the crowd, hoping to make him look bad but the total opposite happened 🙂
I'm not a great lover of the man be a use of his arrogance, his ego. But when it comes to his younger fans and his charity support ya gotta admire him.
That boy tried so hard to speak Portuguese and he is Japanese. And the crowd is just letting him down and laughing and being rude. So that's why I am happy that Ronaldo did that the crowd deserved it.
