I understand the tears..my father was so predictable and quick tempered and i wish we could have talked about heart issues..his childhood..what caused his anger and drinking..you can live a whole life and feel you never understood him..i get it ..but that is what makes you a kind ..compassionate person..and yet tears run freely..never say sorry for that..we are all human.. As another person who grew up without a father I resonate his sentiment completely.
