Teams can have the same score and its called draw, that 1 point in the league for each team (3 for win, 0 for lose). But if is an elimination game you can´t draw. And in Champions League elimination games are two games, the team that score more goals in that two games pass into the next round, but in the final it´s only 1 game, the winner is champion of Europe and the best team in the world in that year.

Messi is so humble compared to Ronaldo and not big-headed, Ronaldo has proven himself and is allowed to be big-headed but comes across too arrogant and attention seeking at times, Messi has always been humble, respectful, not acted better than everyone else and always has time for everyone. Maybe not skill wise as in what they can do with a ball, Messi is a genius, maybe the most talented ever. But Ronaldo from 2008-2018 was a worthy opponent in terms of impact on the pitch. They were rivals and the comparisons were legitimate.
