Good opinion but for me it is 14/15 with the most goals and assists of his career and in my opinion the best year of his career was 2014 but I feel like people are biased towards 11/12 because of the ozil ronaldo connection and the Gold jersey but for me it is 14/15 season

The rumor is that the knee injury he had in 2014 was the cause of his decline. at the end of the 2013/14 season to be exact. He wasn't the same after that season where he won his first championship league with real madrid. But still he managed to win 2 more Ballon the or and another 2 champions league.

The only thing he did that was kinda free style was the roulette but I'd be damned if I remember him doing step overs or doing backheels. He did it when it was absolutely necessary and Ronaldo seems to do it every time he can even if not necessary. Sometimes that's just too extra. You have to remember that step overs are also a form of dribbling tho. Ronaldinho did bicycles but don't remember him doing many step overs, and his class, style, and technique was far beyond anything I have ever seen. Yes, Messi's dribbling is very bland, but the fact that he doesn't rely on those cheeky techniques and can Meg his way out of 4 players marking is just unreal. We have to learn to appreciate every single player, and Ronaldo shines mostly for his scoring than anything else

He was more agile and fluid in 2006/2007(early 2007 in particular). I still think this season( early 2011) is his physical peak when he was still very agile and his speed and explosiveness was at his best. His freekicks were also really good. He added more muscle later on and started losing his agility as the seasons went on. This season and the next season were my favorite of Cr7 in Real Madrid.

Looking at it I would say it's like he was dribbling like Messi in a 6ft2 body and he used more quick movements and feints to get past his opponents where in 2006 I would argue he used more raw power rather than being nimble, 2 different styles of dribbling almost. Both these Cristiano seasons were crazy and I honestly think he is the best dribbler after messi if you take his height into consideration.

Idk if I am the only one who noticed this, but If you look carefully cr7 in january-march 2011 seemed so different from him in april onwards. More agile and explosive before april( 1:13 - 1:52 all clips from early december to march). Even in 2012 was the same. Skills like 3:50 - 3-56 vs atletico is why he is my favourite player to watch, so casual and genius.

@@shyqyrimusta190 yeah he probably put a bit of muscle mass which made him more stocky after march. Makes no sense though he was so fluid and fast there was no need for all that extra muscle which slowed him down and made him less agile and flexible.
