I also think ronaldo wants to fulfil his last promise to play with his son on the pitch, and I'm more than certain madrid would be happy to have ronaldo Jr as a prospect for the squad and therefore could bring both of them in a package deal for ronaldo's final season before his son carries his legacy. Something about ronaldo staying in peak condition until his son is ready to play at the highest level alongside him tells me he won't slow his physical conditioning down until that time comes.
